Bloating, Digestive Issues When Tapering.

Firstly thanks for this Forum, it’s a great source of information.
I’m currently 2 weeks in to a tapering programme after using Cymbalta for 15 yrs.
Was on 60mg a day and am now on 30mg per day. It’s going well and no major issues except a bloated stomach and lots of gas and reflux. Is this normal and related to the withdrawal process?
is there anything I can do to relieve it?
Many thanks for any help,
Chris

Welcome Millbert
I am glad the drop to 30 was fairly smooth but be sure to slow way down from here as it can get worse quickly.
Yes, this is a classic withdrawal symptom. Very common. Our free ebook has a complete section on stomach issues and how to approach them. It can be found at....

Please feel free to ask any questions or just complain how bad you feel. we have all been there.

Hi there Chris and a welcome from me.
My first point was also going to be a quick drop given the length of time you have been on the meds. It is great that you have go to the 30mg with minimal issues, and GI issues are usually the first to show up, so no alarm there, but do consider going slower from this point on as the withdrawal has a habit of creeping up on you very quickly as Hat said.
