I know people will have their own concerns about the latest virus news, but it burned me up to hear yesterday that the government was traumatised by the fact that we had struck 20 deaths in one day as a result of this virus and that drastic measures needed to be put in place.

Well newsbreak for you Boris et al... the same number of people commit suicide each day in the UK and yet you cut public funding to mental health.

God bless all those in the throes of the virus, but it is this sort of thing that makes me sick to the stomach.

I was thinking this! So many people die of mental health causes or severely disabled and it isn't a health crisis! I just don't understand! Massive work has to be done in regards to addressing this blind spot!

Sadly a lot of people will come out of this with mental health problems who hadn't before, so hopefully that means they have to change things!

Yes brother - as you said, many will be experiencing anxiety and "proper" stress for the very first time. But even then people cannot fully comprehend. My mother said to me this evening - being very anxious about the whole thing - "believe me, I know exactly what you are going through". "No mum, you don't". "Once the corona shit has been around for 2 and a half years, then you can say that to me". "You've had 1 week of anxiety, I've had 130..."

Where I live most people do not even believe it exists. Many  are having coronavirus parties. People are idiots. The wife's company has told their employees says if you get sick and stay home you will be written up. Stay home 3 days and you are fired.

366 total cases presently in your state, 82 new cases found today. Idiots indeed.

Ahhh, I just checked the CDC and Missouri Department of health and they say 395 tested, 366 negative, 2 deaths and 47 confirmed cases. Where did you get your numbers from IUN? I know that Yale said they estimated around 3000 cases in Missouri but few people have actually been tested so far.
