REALLY worth a read. Tells you a lot about how little the NHS, GP's and so-called professionals know about anti depressants. Not sure how much of an impact this is going to have, but I am hoping that it will be the start of a chain of events that will get people to sit up and realise the harm that these drugs are doing.

 

Few quick facts from the article;

 

 

 Almost 1 million UK patients have been on antidepressants for 3+ years

 

 1 in 7 people in the UK have picked up a prescription for an anti depressant in the last year (excluding minors)

 

 According to NICE/NHS findings and guidelines, withdrawal is "mild, self-limiting and last a little over a week"

 

 GPs in the UK admit to re-prescribing antidepressants as a result of withdrawal believing it to be a return of symptoms

 

 

This is ridiculous my friends and SERIOUS. 

 

God help us...
