Woh - yes that is a quick taper... especially considering your history.
Water titration is a good way of ensuring a good even dose and far more useful for a slower taper, particularly when it comes to the last few mg...
Timeline is something you need to decide listening to your body. Do you first drop and see how you fair after 7-10 days and work it from that. Worst thing you can do is drop further before you have stabalised. This is where my Cymbalta went wrong. I stabalised perfectly down as far as 10mg, then had my capsules taken and that was the end of that!

The technique is called water titration and the benzos are dissolved in liquid and decreased at a rate of between 0.5% to 4% a month depending on the individual. This is a common technique used by benzo buddies and was taught to me by one of my old psychiatrists. I know many people, including some on this site, that have used this technique to come off benzos with little to no effects. It can take as little as 2 years and as long as 9 years depending on which benzo it is and the dose. A wonderful technique for sure. This method has been around since the 1980s and just shows how drs just don't keep up with things. In all fairness though there is over 300 medical research articles published each week and I don't know how any physician can keep up with that much in formation.
This sound good to you? Totally doable.

That's the one - it is a very simply method. My friend did the same thing with her AD's a while back. For some reason she used fruit juice instead of water. I am not sure if this is viable or not considering the additional elements in juice, so would stick with water. You need to make sure you shake the container before dispensing a dose and measure accurately.
Again, the 0.5% to 4% a month would be a guideline. Everyone will be different, hence the necessity to listen to your body... not your brain! When things go wrong in the brain, there are manifestations in the body, so there is never confusion when listening to the body, whereas the brain can deceive having been laced with all these horrible drugs!

Very true. I'm starting with 5 mg and will take until I stabilize, then start the drop.Everyone will be different, hence the necessity to listen to your body... not your brain! When things go wrong in the brain, there are manifestations in the body, so there is never confusion when listening to the body, whereas the brain can deceive having been laced with all these horrible drugs!
Well, I had to stay true to my reputation, IUN
