This paranoia over health issues is classical of nearly all withdrawals. It is just going to happen but it will pass.

Withdrawal is stressful. Stress causes the release of adrenaline and adrenaline raises blood pressure and pulse. As a rule your resting bp should stay below 130 if above that then you definitely need to get your stress under control.

Platonic love is great axeljames. With my age and the effects of my meds that is all I am capable of.  lol

Did you know the word platonic comes from the name Plato, the philosopher? It can also mean like or similar to Plato.

I don't get it AJ. DMT is rarely ever used in the USA as it is mostly used as a street drug due to its psychedelic effects. Are you using it?

No I read a article saying dmt was used to explain near death experience and now I'm panicking because that would mean there is nothing when we die I already feel disconnected spiritually and I'm just panicking and dont know what to do wasn't sure if you could use your investigated powers to tell me if it's TRUE

Similar but different. In many nde (near death experiences) people have expressed that it feels like they are floating above their own body. This is similar to a small dose of dmt. Larger dose produce psychedelic visual effects and disorientation. That is as far as the comparison goes. Primarily they compare the floating above your body to nde.

AJ, now isn't the time to explore a lot of unnecessary items on the internet. Stick with immediate concerns of your withdrawal. The paranoia of your withdrawal will not let you deal with these other issues rationally and add greatly to your anxiety. Just try and take it easy and relax as much as possible. Try and spoil yourself. There is time to worry about other things later.

AxleJames,

This is paranoia, and the withdrawal is doing all it's tricks on you.

At the bottom of your heart, you know that there is something so beautiful on the other side or else life would be meaningless. People coming back from NDE don't want to come back, that says it all!

Not only possible but is to be expected. Remember that I told you that these neurotransmitters effect the amygdala and hippocampus in the brain. These are the center for worry, paranoia, fear, OCD, anxiety etc.  These however are not controlled by the same neurotransmitters however. It is possible to have anxiety without paranoia but these will fade as your withdrawal fades. They do NOT all fade at the same time or the same rate but they will fade.

The best way to avoid the paranoia and anxiety is to keep your mind busy with pleasant things. Surely you have a hobby or interest that you can get lost in for a while. Nothing life or death related like the paranormal or  nde. Something simple and unemotional. Baseball, knitting, comedies on tv, etc.

Exercise is physical stress and most members found it to add to their symptoms. You need to keep your mind busy, not your body.  lol

Just follow what ever your dr recommended but qtc is seldom an issue and is a reflection of your stress.

Living with long QT. Inherited long QT syndrome doesn't go away. Although the chance of its causing problems begins to fade in middle age, it can cause symptoms and cardiac arrest on into old age. ... Wearing a medical ID bracelet that says you have long QT syndrome is also a good idea.just read this I'm a 36 year old make am I middle aged

OK - Sorry for my late arrival into this discussion. Been at work and cannot access always.

First up, this QT stuff. I am telling you, most people have a predisposed problem towards it from an early age. Serious problems, I am sure, would have been picked up a long time ago. It is odd for it to suddenly fluctuate. I am completely with hat on this one. Your current mental state and medication is going a long way to causing this.

It may be what is called "acquired QT syndrome", which occurs as a consequence of medication, and is a common phenomenon. I was freaking out in the hospital when I was wired up on Tuesday when I turned to see my blood pressure had got to 121. Oh no! 120 is the threshold between good and fair. I want to be in the "good range", but as soon as I chilled out, it went to 106/69... which is textbook. And for a 40-something, I am quite happy.
