Yes it does but it may take some time for your body to adapt. 2 or 3 weeks wouldn't surprise me.

That is correct. Why suffer. Just wait until  it passes.

This morning I woke up with a little fear and burning skin... Another reason to stop lowering for a while I think.

Cheers from Lissabon now.

Today I feel not okay... My body hurts, cold/warm, my mussels sometimes hurt, my skin burns, there are like spiders that are crawling over my skin of my head... Agitation whitin me... I stick to 10mg but I presume it's withdrawal?

Oh yea but it will subside. It may even worsen over the next 48 hours before it levels off and starts to get better. That is one reason I always suggest putting your weaning on hold as soon as you feel any significant withdrawal effects. Hang in there it will get better.

10 mg is a low dose. You have come a long way but are now getting to the point where you need to go slower and slower so when you start back up start weaning a little slower.

If it takes one bead a day so be it. You can not control your body right now. You have to remember it is calling the shots. Listen to your body. We had one member that had to do 1 bead a day from the very beginning she was so sensitive to the withdrawal. But she made it all the way through.

Also the fear is getting me more... is this withdrawal guys? I can't think of something else.

I now take max 2x 0.25mg alprozolam a day to cover it... not a lot I think....

Oh I had fear so bad I slept on blankets, on the fetal position, in a corner with the lights on. Whew!! Terrible. Part of the trip but you are on hold so it will fade. That why I always recommend that when you start feeling the withdrawal symptoms you pause right away because things usually get worse over the next few days.

Okay, I have to wait and be strong until then. For the time being, I take 2x 0,25 mg alprazolam a day which isn't much. The 2 weeks before I was better and used almost none benzos...

Will I have an even worse withdrawal from the benzos?

At the dosage you are at you probably won't have any withdrawal or little but there is a method to come off of them that, if patient enough, you can withdraw with NO withdrawal. At this point I wouldn't worry about it.

Varies from person to person. Should let up in 2 or 3 weeks at the most. But it is as it is. It is done when it is done. Just set back and don't fight it.

I will give it more time for sure because my mind is triggering/wondering me all the time what side effects there are or are to be expected... it is not an easy "game" in my head right now... Does someone recignize this? I take 10mg untill I'm completely stabilized again... even it has to take a month.

Have a nice weekend guys!!!!

Oh yeah. For many these symptoms are there 24 hours a day in large doses. The slow taper isn't perfect but really minimizes things. Just stay where you are. Doing well. If the symptoms are transcient then things should start to improve soon. Give your body a chance.
