Down here
I've slept so much in the last three months, I guess that's over. Always tapering the morphine week by week.
The Montreal medical team were great, I suspect that the oncologist is on a burn out. Contradictions here and here.
The travelling to Montreal brought great stress, I can't believe that people live in that city. The traffic is crazy. I would have lost what's left of my mind if I were to live there.
I suspect the same would happen to you Fishingbrain!
As for the treatments, they had made a mold for my body. You can't move unless you want to screw up the treatment. Total time, one hour, preparation included. It was ok. The city was way worse.
Treating the area where the spine was fusioned. Much less pain. Medical appointments here and there. What's next? Immunotherapy?? I looked that up, a mess. Chemiotherapy with pills? We will weight all that down when I meet with the team.
I don't know if my time is counted. They just assured me that they were keeping me comfortable and there is no cure. One doctor on five says otherwise. I so hate not to know!
Time will tell. I miss my two inches and a quarter that I loss during the fusion. I know, real not that important. And what if my brain shranked at the same time?lol!
My buddy Pierre is real nice and patient with me. I would be lost without him.
Battery getting low here. FH, I am on three gabapentin 300mg daily, can I begin to skip the middle one? Or should I keep on?

here here!
All in all Gail it sounds like it went well. I would stay on the gabapentin at three tablets. Not a time to upset the routine.
I can't imagine an oncologist that doesn't get burned out. What a job.
Well, relax for a while and enjoy Sid. I am glad you are back home.
