Thanks FH ... as an old fart, I'm very interested in this ...
From the first article:
"There was clear evidence of the effectiveness of sertraline, paroxetine, and duloxetine. There also appears to be a hierarchy of safety associated with the different antidepressants, although there appears to be a dearth of reporting of safety outcomes."
I'd also like to know where they got their study participants from ... nursing homes? assisted living? still active in the community / family ?
There's so damn much to pick apart and question in all of these "studies" ... esp. who funded the research?
