Liz, the sleeping thing took the longest to stabilize within the brave new world of discontinuation (life after antidepressants). More than 2 years for me- but I'm glad you brought it up because it was so omnipresent, and such a daily struggle that I guess I assumed everybody can't sleep.

 

But there's been improvement and that (and your query) has caused me to look at it. Also, I was in Europe for a couple of weeks over Christmas and that thew me off some too.

 

From time to time the "bedtime" hour wanders, and if I don't pay attention to it, 2AM becomes the new 1030!! Know what I mean? If I get backed into a corner with the drifting bedtime hour, I can re-establish it for a couple of weeks by taking half a Zopiclone and going to bed early.

Thanks, TM - I really wondered since your posts are at all different hours!

 

I still have sleep problems but try to keep the patterns in order since I have 2 dogs and I can't explain to them why they can't go out at 7am!

 

BTW,  I really enjoyed your posts while you were away and had my oldest son read them as well  (he was visiting from Seattle over Christmas) - he enjoyed them as he likes war history and my grandfather was in WWI - in the MP and stationed in Paris!

Sleep? Not a problem here now or the anxiety. The Conzac (my word for Prozac!) fixed that and brought back with it the old numbing down of emotions and general don't give a damn state of being. What to do, what to do, hate anti-d's, how 'bout you?!

I just don't sleep unless I take meds for it. Even then I rarely get more than 4 hours straight. I wake up in pain. Can't find a comfortable position
