Need your help with an English saying. It's got to do with something ressembling to "a wing and a prayer".

Gail, are you asking what 'wing and a prayer' mean? My definition is flying by the seat of your pants and hoping you land upright! In other words, I am leaving a bad situation on a wing and a prayer. Think it means you're hopeful in making a decision without much guarantee of success, but hope floats, imho! Maybe, someone else can answer better;)
