awaits all

well my joy has just been pushed back by 3 more weeks thanks to a Tory government making a mess of the NHS.

6 weeks of isolation is a very long time... but at least I am over half way now... only by 1 day, but over half way is good I guess...

awaits well-being

I, too, am going bonkers during this lockdown! :(

My anxiety is thru the roof as I wake up with it every morning and have pains in my stomach.

Just happy I have Happy (my new adorable canine - a Cairn terrier).  Talking to a dog is better than talking to no one!!

well-being needed

Ahhh I LOVE Cairn Terriers - wasn't Greyfriars Bobby one? I remember he was called Happy :)

And talking to him will probably to better than talking to the British Government too.... useless %^&^%^£$%£

Anxiety to be expected my love. As LDN has said, every day is an exposure.

needed calmness

Don't know the terrier you are referring to IUN - I only think of TOTO in the Wizard of Oz!!

Prayers and best wishes to all here - things must improve at some point!

calmness prevails

Greyfriars Bobby was a Scottish tale which told of a dog who refused to leave his master, even after he died and he spent 14 years living and guarding the grave. It is a great story for dog-lovers, so you should really watch/read - depending on your preference for the book or the movie.

But he was a Skye Terrier, not Cairn. A Skye being a derivative of a Scottish terrier as the Isle of Skye is off the top of the coast of mainland Scotland.

gone away...

Just like Gailage's pain will do soon!

NM - forgot to say that you have a lovely new avatar there... and your presence here yesterday REALLY did make a difference yesterday. I felt great... much love xx

Liz - is a bit of a tear-jerker in places, but not really a sad-tale for people that understand "a man (or woman's!) best friend"!! Wishing you all the best for a wonderful Sunday my dear...

here I go

Oh man!!! I just went on the site to check if there was anything new and all my posts from 9 AM yesterday to  1 Pm today are gone. On top of that all the new posts I read during that time are now labeled 'new posts' again. Sorry gang but it has been a long day and I am just too wore out to read everything a second tome and repost.

Is it bedtime yet?

Glad it wasn't just me...!! Same thing - I spend a good half hour replying this afternoon and they have all disappeared?! I have forgotten what I write and what I didn't. So, apologies here too... Glitch in the system...

Almost bedtime Hat - about half hour or so for you....

edit - mainly Viviana224's post and RenW's post that were the important ones - will have to catch up tomorrow

mad hatter

Been a week since anyone has been here, so keeping it going :)

Overall a tough time with the state of the world, but as we have seen only today with both MX and Gail that things can change when we least expect them, even in these dark times. Through faith, hope and prayer, we will see the greener pastures that lay beyond the uncertainty my friends.

God Bless you all.
