me? SAD
My dear little Maltese passed away yesterday afternoon. I think he had a heart attack as he has had congestive heart failure for a while now and has been on meds twice a day.
I heard him make a strange noise when he was outside and he was already lying in the grass - I picked him up and held him and I think that he was alive for at least another minute or 2.
I took him to the Vet this morning to be cremated....

Sad indeed
My dear girls... Liz I am so sorry to hear about your lovely wooflin passing away. May he rest in peace. Make no mistake, your little furball will be up there in heaven waiting for you. Cats and dogs always remain as such and they stay with you in this world and the next.
Gailage - very sorry to hear that the black dog has your back again with this depression. Seems to be a week for it what with my Phenibut incident and LDN's onset of depression today. But yes, it will pass my dear.
It can't rain all the time.
God Bless you both.

sad still
Thank you FH - I will meet him at Rainbow Bridge when I go...
Gail, Bentley died about 3 yrs ago but due to the same congestive heart failure, however he was about 15 yrs old and had been my daughter's dog which made it all the worse
Wrigley, the picture on my profile is the one that died...he was only about 12
Sherman went over to him even tho I had him wrapped up in a blanket and sniffed him and he knew. Wrigley is being cremated now. I will find a new friend for Sherman

"Rainbow bridge" - what two lovely words when joined together. Didn't realise this was associated with our furry companions...
