Just looked at the path it took and that sudden shift to the east must have been such a relief. Hope it misses the Bahamas and goes off into the Atlantic Ocean to cool off out of harms way...

water front

That is nuts - out of water?! Definately time for that visit to Hat - he's had plenty of water recently... I can't believe how the US get so much extreme weather and the UK seems to miss it out. Had an earthquake a few years back which required an insurance job on the house, but that it nothing compared to floods and hurricanes. Really feel for you guys.

front door

Haven't heard from the other Florida members yet. I hope they are all well.

Speaking of water. The Corp of Engineers have opened up accesses to the lakes and rivers in my area about 2 weeks ago. We have already had more rain than an average year!! Many boat ramps were closed for over 4 months, Real tough on tourist and fishing related businesses,

shots fired.

An example of a body shot is for one person to lay down flat on their back and expose their belly button. A drink (usually a mixed drink) is poured into the belly button and then some one sucks the drink out of there and drinks it. Very unsanitary.

Oh no! That is not right.... I suppose the introduction of alcohol in the first place puts pay to any health considerations however.

A key point is to be sure and remove any lint that may be in the belly button before performing this activity. lol

I'm sure she knows a lot more than we give her credit for in this context!!

My thoughts were with all those in remembrance of this day. For all of those loved and lost, and the courage of all that came to aid.
