Blood pressure must be taken the same way each time.
You must be sitting or lying still for at least 2 minutes or more but not more than 5 minutes.
This is called a resting blood pressure. If you choose to set then it must always be taken in a setting position each time.
Do not cross your legs during a blood pressure.
DO NOT base any of your decisions on one single bp. Bp fluctuates due to many factors. Activity around you, your health, when and what you eat, etc. I take at least 2 or 3 resting blood pressures during the day. You are looking for a pattern.
I have found that at least in my case it is easy to quickly determine that my bp is rising or falling after a few bp readings.
Do not take a bp within 5 minutes of another blood pressure. It takes the vessels in the arm or wrist time to adjust back to normal. It is best to wait 10 minutes if you need to try and get another bp.
The bp cuff should be at the level of the heart.
There is also a stress test for your heart.
1) Determine your resting bp as above.
2) Go up and down stairs until bp exceeds 135 on systolic.
3) Retake resting blood pressure after two minutes rest. Your bp should have returned to normal. The longer it takes to return to normal the less efficient the heart is. Of course this is just a crude test.

If you can Gail get the water extract lions mane. The powdered Lion's Mane mushroom itself is so weak it won't do you any good. It has to be an extract.
I had a sudden drop in white blood cell count and thyroid enzymes so the dr wanted me to get off the Lion's Mane (the only thing I had started recently) and retest. My retest is in about 2 weeks.
The brain inflammation depends if it is associated with edema (swelling/fluid build up) or not. What makes you think you have brain inflammation?
I have some Mets on each side of my skull. It hurts. They will be treated by radiotherapy, but one thing at the time, Monday is radiotherapy for the humerus, a one shot thing.
In two weeks, we meet again go see about the cranial Mets. I was thinking that I may have inflammation. Is it related?
Thank you Sir.

My daughter has a big bike, she often goes to Facebook to see if any bikers are free for a ride, lunch etc. So yesterday, I posted that I was coming on my big bike, a 2 wheel Caner.
That's a cane, with two wheels attached, you sit on the handle and of you go. We had a good laugh!
