headlines today

I have an question unconnected to cymbalta:

At the bottom when I see "2 user(s) are reading this topic", one is me and one is Bing... I think Bing is a search engine... but what does it get out of reading posts on here. Is Bing an actual person? I sometimes see "google bot" too... I'm not asking this question correctly, but what the heck is a Bing and a Google Bot and why are they here?

snooping around

At the bottom when I see "2 user(s) are reading this topic", one is me and one is Bing... I think Bing is a search engine... but what does it get out of reading posts on here. Is Bing an actual person? I sometimes see "google bot" too... I'm not asking this question correctly, but what the heck is a Bing and a Google Bot and why are they here?

These are computers which "visit" pages all over the Internet and take note of all the changes that have occurred. This information is then used in search engine results, hence Bing, Google etc. So what I am writing at the moment will be found by these bots over the next 24-48 hours and then be used by Google and Bing as a database for anyone searching. When you search for something in Google, it doesn't look at the webpages at the very moment you search, it searches all the information that these "bots" have found (or "crawled").

That make sense, Kath?

They are having a shindig in our town square again... it sounds like a dog howling...  edited to add: a thunderstorm is on the way! Yay, that should put an end to the noise out in the "square".

Methods unorthodox

Well well, what a bad surprise this morning. As happy as I was yesterday, this morning proved quite the contrary. Crying and crying and feeling so bad. So, that's it for the med. Tapering fast, as I was only 15 days on it. Hope has gone under the carpet.

Are you sure its not a blip darling? I do not know the med well enough, but there are usually ups and downs when first started. I don't know...

Just want to hold you and wipe all those tears away.

well done Hat!

Trying to characterise withdrawal anxiety. Can anyone relate to having all the hallmarks symptoms, but when you try to think what is causing it, you cannot find anything?

I know this can occur on its own, but I have been having this on and off all day and sick of it...

Sore throat

Same here Scrat. No cause unless in the subconscient. That for many many years.
But I remember, in 1979, having a panic attack when my husband mentioned talking with girls at work.....I had to exit the restaurant. Sheer affective insecurities.
