Have only seen Mrs. Cardinal recently....hopefully they will both be back soon.  For those who don't know..cardinals are sent to you from a loved one in Heaven.  In my case, I feel that they are being sent by my daughter   It appears to happen when I am having a particularly difficult time with something.
