Sorry we can't blame the hip problem on the C....

I see a pain Dr. who prescribes Hydrocodone but sometimes that doesn't quite do it

Somedays can hardly walk but a lot depends on the weather - Both Sherman (who has Arthritis in his spine) and I really suffer when the barometer falls.

(For those who don't know...Sherman is my 10 yr old Lhasa Apso - Pekingese mix) :D

Aww - you must make a sweet pair between you. I have no idea about advances in osteoporosis, but I sure hope there is something that can be used for you.

I'm not suggesting you pay for it as I am sure you have the equivalent in Florida, but it is heaven in a mug! I used to mix Ashwagandha with it and it tasted like a nice oat-chocolate thing. Absolute bliss!!

Darn it. I want some now - but I'm not going 5 miles to the all-night store at 2am.. I'm not an "Options" junkie :D

Well, I am the curious type. I looked at the packages of Option's HC on Amazon in the USA. It is sold by a distributor and it seems to be in violation of fda rules as it does NOT list ingredients. It also has a disclaimer...

$9 for 220 grams (a little less than 1/2 pound) (Weight IUN not money.)

End of visit

Had a lovely visit from my best friend. Not seen him in 15 months. We went shopping, ordered the suntheanine and bought apples among other things.

Was to tired to go on, so a siesta is waiting for me. I feel so happy! Yeah!

visit ended

Saw LRNP this afternoon and was prescribed Boniva (sp?) for bone density and recommended Ortho who will give shot for pain and follow up with the osteoporosis...

Looks like there might be some relief in sight! :)

Ended well...

Just like Gail's day. So so so glad to read of your fine day. You weren't tired and you did your shopping!! Fan-bloody-tastic! Will be interested to hear how the Suntheanine goes.

Hat is still on his legal trip I see. I think Vin's talk of FDA goings-on has got him all fired up!! :D

Liz - reading up says the Bonia increases exiting bone mass whilst minimising loss.

Have a read - https://www.rxlist.com/boniva-drug.htm

The adverse reactions show hardly any difference from placebo, so it looks to be a good choice from that perspective. Watch out for any upper GI abnormality and don't take aspirin!!
