What you are saying is very true IUN. There are many supplements out there that are of use but must be used with great care such as you are doing with the kratom. By the way Kratom is illegal where I live because there was so much recreational usage that led to death.

Day trip

Thanks Kathy - relieved!!

Hat - that is a shame that the proverbial bad apples can do this. There is even a call for cracking down on Pregabalin over here in the UK as it is somehow getting into prisons and other places and being abused because of the valium-type effects. I think any drug will be abused given the opportunity. But as so me, and knowing how sensitive I can be to them, am very very careful. Kratom is a far better option than Valium or Xanax for sure. It lasts a lot longer, has next to no side effects and as long as you do not take it more than 2-3 times a week, there is zero chance of addiction - and subsequently withdrawal. But know your limits people... take care of yourself.

Trip organization

Scrat, do you need a prescription for Kratom? If so, what is it prescribed for? Is it a benzo?

Thank you, lovage!

No prescription needed. You can buy it in places all over the US and Canada. Definately not a benzo! The effects are different depending on whether you buy red or white Kratom, but the effects are also slightly different for everyone. Generally speaking, the white is more stimulating, whilst the red is more relaxing. I take the red (riau) as it really helps with both anxiety and depression, and lasts between 4-6 hours. I usually take it before dinner and I sleep as it is wearing off.

Gail it is an alkaloid with a chemical structure like opium. Mostly used for pain.

While the Federal government in the US has and is still considering listing it as a class I drug the only state to ban it so far is Missouri (where I live).. Hundreds of pounds of Kratom have been confiscated and destroyed here due to a lot of recreational deaths associate with  this drug.

Lost in space

Thank you both. Fishinghat, I read that it was banned in many states, not only Missouri.
And that you can buy it over internet. I have ever heard about this product.

Scrat, pills? Tea? You say that you get it anywhere like where? Thank you again!

Right in your back-yard Gailage;

https://www.original...tom-sherbrooke/

It is usually supplied as powder, but can be put in capsules to swallow as the taste is quite bitter. I mix with pineapple juice and it isn't too bad at all. You can also steep in tea as well and mix with any other tea of your choosing and a bit of honey.

I can sense Hat anxiety about this, and I am of course with him. Just because it works for me, doesn't mean it "might" have an effect on someone else - regardless of the likelihood. I just want it known that these things must be done in careful moderation in the first instance. But it is still far better for you than any other benzo. I hope that one day eyes will be open to the potential of other things like this... I mean, how long did it take for c.....bis to come out? And look at how well this is now controlling epilepsy? It is a godsend to many not it has been legalised for medicinal use. Where supervised, it is a wonderful thing. Obviously I remain firm on the issue of abuse.

Quest search

Wow! In my back yard. Scrat, I can't use because of my usage of Fentanyl and Dilaudid. My brain is so fragile. Thanks for the information.

Lovage to Scattage. Oh another thing, does it work instantly! How do you feel after taking it?

You can typically feel it starting to work in 20-30 mins with full effects around an hour. Some report earlier. It also depends how close to eating you take it. Usually best either 2 hours before or after meal. Little snacks don't seem to make much odds.

Lots of love love lovage..

Fonction properly

Bad or not, I find it cute! I need something to get my mind off this depression and my Moses did it. Maybe I could try the same with my tablet, who knows what God would tell me. I'm trying it and I'll be back!

That was fast! First, he sends his regards to you both who are working real hard for the forum. And to me he said to ask you both to pray for me. That I would be fine with time and patience. He said that he thought those two words himself to Fishinghat.

Oh, he said that he loved us dearly, Moses pointed his nose wanting to exchange tablets, I didn't think that this was a good idea. But, I'll think about it. Lovely conversation!

Goodnight guys, I love you both. Lovage.

What a lovely thing to find before turning in. Such a sweet Gailage. And a quick turnaround... maybe you caught Him on a light work day up there!

Been a tough week for us, and think a rest is on the cards all round beginning with an early night for a change. So, I'll be off to be having my own conversation and to request some healing light to my "forum friends", and maybe some meditation.

See you tomorrow...

ooh - and "properly spoken" :)

Said calmly

Been back to hospital Siddage. I've updated my thread just now - been in a right state. Makes no sense as I was feeling perfectly alright all evening yesterday. Body is in lots of pain for the tension and shaking. Wish I could stop it...

There you go Gailage - I bet you don't remember them?!? A little bit further on than your early 70's though I admit.

What you just wrote painted a lovely picture in my mind! You are in a lovely white frock, running into the arms of our wonderful creator at the top of a leafy glade... almost like a Kate Bush video... oooh "Running up that Hill" - there's your song to go with it :)
