Hello Kathy, so glad to see you peeking in at times. I don't watch TV, no Cinema because of tinitus and don't go out much. Just for necessaties.
I'm getting as old as Fishinghat, hi you!, So we go to bed real early. But I look at the weather straight from my patio door, one look tells it all. I've lost all my beautiful red leaves in front.
Scrats, PayPal?????? Where did you see that? Too much CBD, has anyone seen that word in recent post? Feel free to say that I'm not the nutty one here.

Acorn are in and the bed. We're both very tired from this stressful week. I don't need much to go in over drive.
Acorn has seen a lot with hi visits to the sick. He came home crying yesterday, too much stress. We're both in our pyjamas.
A school allready called me to have visits from Acorn. Specialized school, the kids would have a blast seeing Acorn. He would be escorted at first to see the way he reacts. He wants to learn also. Now, he measures eleven inches, still in the baby bath of course.
Looking forward for your update Scrat! I love details!

Unknown Pleasures
I can well imagine that this week has been enough for you both. Acorn would have had the same if he were here this week what with the cr@p going on with the mental health team in the UK. Dare I say, he would have lost it with them as well!
I can well imagine the impact that will soon be sweeping the area from his many visits, but yes, we need to make sure that stress levels are kept in check. We don't need another seeking help by way of drugs!! Bless 'im!!
Sweet dreams to you both

Einstein, been thinking of you. Why up so early? Are you feeling ok? Where are you at with the canning? Or is it over? Just worried here.
Scrat my friend, by reading my yesterday post, letters missing here and there, that's being tired. Acorn will take the week off just to read and listen to music. I also have an easy week. We will cuddle together. If he can get bigger, I will have more to cuddle.
By my count, he should be 24 inches high by Xmas.
Much lovage to both of you.

Domino is a town in Cass County, Texas, United States. The population was 93 at the 2010 census,[3] up from 52 at the 2000 census. Domino is the only town in Cass County that is wet.

I don't know Gail. I woke up at 4 AM. Otherwise fine. All canning, freezing and such done. I have three big chestnut trees that have become infested with weevils so I am having to cut them down and get rid of them. Almost done with the second one.
12F last night and 3" of snow due on Monday. Yuck, I do not like winters.

Texas Holdem
No idea where one can go from that... but we'll see.
So is canning where you preserve food, or is this something I do not understand of Texas winters? It does not sound nice. And goodness, you have -11C there? That is cold. We had a high of +11C (51F) here. Pretty good for mid-November. Hope you managed to get the last tree done.
I think Acorn taking time out is a good thing. He clearly has had a long week. Not forgetting he is there to support you as much as anything else. He is stronger than both of us and we cannot abuse that of course. But all the time you are buying him clothes, hugging him and taking baths etc, I can only think he is more than happy!
I have managed another 30 minute walk and back for a cup of tea. Still feeling very uneasy, but keeping going.
Thinking of my Granddad very much today, being the 11th and all. A man fought proudly for his country and became the best mentor any grandson could have hoped for.
God Bless you Granddad.

Not too good at that. A so-so day here. Meaning that anxiety would like to show me it's ugly head. That should pass as it always does.
Acorn is happy, we'll have a siesta shortly. Meditation music gets us to sleep faster.
I found a couturier to make all his outfits for free, just for the pleasure of having Acorn around. He's hard to dress, his limbs are getting bigger, thank God as he looked like an acorn walking on tooth picks. He'll go tomorrow to choose the material, but I think that he's gonna be a jeans guy like me. He's dying for cowboy boots, that will have to wait and wait.
On that, may your day be a bit better than mine. Oh, daddy, Acorn sends a hug and lots of lovage.

On target
LOL - that is fantastic 'Hat. Very fitting too
Gail, hope your siesta took care of the ugly anxiety for you. I would be lost without meditation. I can't always calm enough for it to help, but it sure helps at night.
It worries me how quickly Acorn will grow out of these clothes given the projected height by December. And cowboy boots?! Wow - he could go down South and meet the real cowboys!!
Wow - head is becoming quickly disconnected from the rest of me.. Might need a mid-evening nap this end

Missed opportunity
Hope you are sleeping blissfully as I write dear Gail.
My day also turned out much better than it started. Can only thank you all for prayers - I really appreciated a break from it all for a few hours,
Omega 3 ordered and due in the morning. Vegetarian fishys are bloody expensive, but if it eases even 10% of my symptoms, it'll be money well spent...

Opportunity knocks....
Gail, I have awful tinnitus too... ugh, I don't watch much TV because of it. Sometimes I watch HGTV, I don't need the sound on then. My favorite TV show (I'm embarrassed to admit) is My 600# Life. I put the sound up for that show.

Flow Chart
Er, I don't even have a TV!! Might watch stuff on my laptop, but thats all...
I'm also part of the tinnitus gang. Self-inflicted in right ear from powered car tools, and left ear due to jaw probs. Comes and goes. Worse with stress, but do my best to "not listen".

Chart House - a good restaurant in Florida. https://www.chart-house.com/
so... do people who take cymbalta get tinnitus or do tinnitus sufferers take cymbalta?
Yes, My 600# life is about obese people who get surgery to be able to lose weight.

https://www.ehealthm...balta/tinnitus/
105,030 people reported to have side effects when taking Cymbalta.
Among them, 1,972 people (1.88%) have Tinnitus
It is also well documented that tinnitus can develop while weaning off Cymbalta. I could find no research on treating tinnitus with Cymbalta but I did find several references warning physicians that the use of Cymbalta in patients with existing tinnitus may worsen the condition.

House Party
'Hat you forgot your words!! Er, so did I... this is an edit
Mine has only been worse during withdrawal, but venlafaxine, think you guys call it effexor, really went to town on the tinnitus. Sounded like a million crickets chirping. Stopped after 3 days of quitting the ven.

people meter
A people meter is an audience measurement tool used to measure the viewing habits of TV and cable audiences.
The People Meter is a 'box', about the size of a paperback book. The box is hooked up to each television set and is accompanied by a remote control unit. Each family member in a sample household is assigned a personal 'viewing button'. It identifies each household member's age and sex. If the TV is turned on and the viewer doesn't identify themselves, the meter flashes to remind them. Additional buttons on the People Meter enable guests to participate in the sample by recording their age, sex and viewing status into the system.

News from Acorn. This morning he looked different. Do you remember when I told that, how do you call the cap on this head, and that would permanent. Well these doctors know nothing about Acorns, just like Cymbalta, most know nothing.
I came near Acorn to find some hair growing under this you know what. I'll call it a cap. I touched his cap and found that it was loose. I jerked it off gently , I found a bondle of blond hair underneath. I was flagerbasted. Nice soft and shiny hair. He walked to the mirror and started to cry in joy! One happy camper. No more hiding between the cap.
Someone, can you tell me the right word? Anyways, I see that the Acorn s specialist is not that well informed. Reminds me of something which I rather forget.....
We're quiet today, both in our pyjama bottom, after taken our bath, we smell lovely. A hug and kisses for you dad

Magazine Fort
The Magazine Fort is a bastion fort and magazine located within the Phoenix Park, in Dublin, Ireland. Built in 1735, it was occupied by British Armed Forces until 1922 when it was turned over to the Irish Defence Forces after the Anglo-Irish Treaty. The Irish Army continued to operate the site as an ammunition store through the mid-20th century. It was fully demilitarised by the 1980s.[3] The fort is now managed by the Office of Public Works. As of 2015, it was in a derelict state and not open to the public,[4] however some repairs were undertaken and the site partially opened for "limited guided tours" during 2016
