Cube teapot

The cube teapot is a teapot whose main purpose was to be used on a ship. The cube shape of the teapot would stabilise it so that it would not roll over and scald the person making the drink, whereas conventional curved teapots would roll over when the ship rocked from side to side

teapot cosy

Essentially, a hat placed over a teapot to keep it warm during servings :)

COSY Spectrum

In standard COSY, the preparation and mixing periods each consist of a single 90° pulse separated by the evolution time t1, and the resonance signal from the sample is read during the detection period over a range of times t2.

The first and most popular two-dimension NMR experiment is the homonuclear correlation spectroscopy (COSY) sequence, which is used to identify spins which are coupled to each other. It consists of a single RF pulse (p1) followed by the specific evolution time (t1) followed by a second pulse (p2) followed by a measurement period (t2).

I actually studied this in PChem (Physical Chemistry).

IUN. in my younger years I actually saw a few teapot cosys in use.

Spectrum Analyser

At the risk of sounding like a nerd, that is really interesting stuff fishinghat. Beginning to see where your field of knowledge has come from. We are very fortunate to have you at hand on the site!

As audio is one of my fields, the above seemed appropriate - but these words are getting quite tough!

Ache(all)over

Yesterday was Canada's day for legalizing Cannabis. We have special stores just for that.
In all kinds of format. Going shopping now! Come with me Einstein? Nah, just going to see my delightful doctor. I wouldn't touch that since I had my first gigantic panic attack on that at 18. A few years back...

ache over

to ache over someone" is an unusual phrase but it means to feel pangs when thinking about people who are no longer around.

Scrat wanted to say "ache orn"... gettit :)

Orn is a now obsolete verb meaning to adorn. But alas it is not a correct sentence.

[EDIT] OH NO!!! Gail beat me to it I think... what do we do now!!! [/EDIT]
