angry eyes...
... great Loggins and Messina song - those over 50 may remember it ;-)
hello folks - had a great solar eclipse adventure yesterday. fishing hat - i know you live not too far from the path of totality (or so i thought) were you able to catch it? i saw the whole shebang - total darkness, the stars came out, crickets went nuts, the sun's corona. wow. just wow!
TFL, its that a new tablet or computer where you lost copy and paste function? ipad can do it but it works differently since you don't have a mouse. i don't know about android tablets but i assume they can as well. setting up a new device is always a pain, like having to remember/dig up so many passwords that were saved on old browsers... and please take care - no falls! i hope you are feeling okay, aside from the skinned knees, you have an interesting way of staying young! oh to be 10 again! ;-).
holding good thoughts for Gail - who returns home tomorrow.

Hi all! Just got back from a "vacation" at my friend's place. Going back next week.
I'm doing much better except for the stomach pain when I eat.
Seeing surgeon today. I will insist for an ultrasound.
We kept his son's black Labrador for two days. The joy of sleeping with a dog, I loved it!
Liz, put on pads on your knees! Love xxxxx

If it's quiet that means that people are doing quite well! So I think!
One question, are your jujubes sweet! I tasted some from my neighbor, my oh my, so far from sweet! I mean real far. They look like a cherry but smaller.
I am exhausted at this point, back tomorrow!

broken mind
Those sound like the native jujubes that grows wild. The only thing is they don't grow that far north. My jujubes are the Chinese ones and they get to be about the size of a golf ball and turn mostly reddish brown when ripe. Very sweet. The native ones are too small and sour.
Nave a good nights rest Gail.

Hey Gail! Sleeping with a dog is fun isn't it??
I could actually sign in today - wonders never cease
Unfortunately our electricity was out for about 2 1/2 hrs earlier - have no idea why
I wish you well this coming week and just want to add that you have a fantastic friend!!!

Oh yes Liz, I enjoyed so much!
And yes to my wonderful friend, may God bless him. He's the only person that I can show all my emotions to. Like this morning, when he called, I was crying like a baby, bouts of depression still show up, I didn't have to hide it. He is a Good send or sent.
I may end up with a big fat grey cat for three weeks, this other friend suffers from respiratory problems. We'll find out if it gets better with no cat around. He's had the cat for seven years. Since I can't get out of town for three weeks, too many medical appointments.
They passed my case to the Committee to decide if chemotherapy should be applied or should wait till something else shows up. In the pill form. I will know in two weeks. It will be my decision. And I don't know yet what I'll decide. Oh, and immunotherapy.
Almost writing a book here! See you later friends!

ever ready
Just a shout out "Hello" to everyone! I've missed you all and see how many are still progressing and helping others as well as themselves. Don't believe I'll be on much as you all know I had a very serious family issue which needed my attention. Things have calmed, with positive results at this time, although I am still needed to be with family as a strong support system. I'm hoping you all are doing better, or at least stabilizing. My love to you all!

Trying for Sunshine here also, Fishinghat! Today was Sunshine and 80 degrees, finally. Tomorrow back in the 60's with rain. Been a very cool and wet summer.....Not much of the pool days this summer. All decorated for fall, as I finished today with the help of nieces. Had a nice day and finally a break away from ciaos.
Liz, sorry your son left yesterday. It does get lonely as I know the feeling when my family leaves. Had much of my Floridian family here throughout the summer which is unusual although I had another grandchild in May. A beautiful new granddaughter! My niece in Florida, who lives there year round was the Godmother and she spent a nice 6 weeks here.
Out of work for a bit, although will be going back soon.
Love to all of you.....

Otherwise, rain and wind is no worse than usual.
