Seeing one also Liz. The best that I could do and he is available.
Fh, any way we can get a picture of your jujube tree? What do you do with them? Big fan of jujubes here.

Ok, I will imagine that they are of all colors, ready to be eaten. Some with sugar on it, some with multi colors. Some in the form of fishes, frogs, and some wearing zebra g-strings.
I like that.
Fragile and scared this morning, teary eyed, it will pass! All that sleep! Need encouragement please!

All I can say is 'time and patience' Gail. Major surgery and you are not a youngster anymore. It will be a trial of patience. just don't push yourself. Vitamin C should also help with the healing process. Just pretend you are on a vacation.

How is everyone doing today? Gail, does your med help your pain? How are you doing?
Saw the pain management doc yesterday and he now has me going to Physical Therapy starting 2 weeks from today. Also have another type of injection next Wed. I sure am getting tired of all this running around...every day it's something
Had to give up bridge yesterday due to doc appt.

Getting the zipper off today. We have no summer here, I don't mind this year, not much I can do yet. My supporting buddy is coming for three days or so. That will do me good. First outing today in a week!

Going to Montreal on Monday for my first appointment. We will discuss radiotherapy, stereo something. Emotions through the top yesterday, calmer this morning. Thank you for your prayers.
No more Staples, I can sit without having to move every second. Life is so full of surprises, good ones and some that you don't think that you will get through, but you do! Surprisingly!

Where are you at Kathy with your taper?
Thanks Liz! My buddy left this morning, alone till Monday. My brother will pick me up and bring me to Montreal. Less than a two hour ride. Thank God for the help that people bring us.
That goes for the prayers also.

It's just for a one night stay, maybe two at the most. Computers?? One in every room, tablets all over the place. Name it, he's got it.
Nice of you to say that Fishingbrain!

Hi all!
Yikes - yesterday we had one miserable thunderstorm that went on forever and my cable, phone and internet were out
Certainly let me know that I watch too much TV or spend too much time on the computer! I didn't know what to do! I finally put on some Enya and Ivy was scared to death - apparently she had never heard music before
Gail, enjoy your stay with your brother, welcome back Kathy and what are you up to today, FH?

Nice to see you Liz! Enya is one of my favorites. I know people that can't deal with that sort of music. Buy heavy metal for ivy, you will be the one to go nuts!
Geez, I am sleeping my life away. Never in my life have I slept like that. Liz, it doesn't remove the wrinkles, it's worse. Don't try it.
Looking good Kathy! What are your worst symptoms? If any!
FH must be trying on the new gstrings I sent him. He must be stuck in the mirror admiring himself!!!

between meals
Good to hear from you, Gail! No, no heavy metal for me and I think Ivy would pass out! She was OK with the thunder yesterday - some of which was directly overhead and LOUD! Lasted about an hour - poor Sherman was shaking and next to me on the couch
I'm glad that you are getting a good rest....actually, I had a facial yesterday - it helps!!
Did you all hear about the huge sinkhole that opened up in Pasco county here? It is over 200 feet wide and they think about 50 feet deep and filled with water. It has swallowed 2 homes so far...they are still watching it. I feel so terrible for those who have lost everything There are 9 others that are not able to be lived in as it is precarious at best. Praying for all that are affected.
Thinking of FH trying on g strings - now that is a picture!

I checked it out Liz, hope it's over!
Poor Sherman, does he like Ivy? And Max, how goes our sweetheart?
FH, leave the strings alone, we miss you! Unless it's a chosen time to pamper the Mrs?

prepared quickly
Sherman is OK w/Ivy if she doesn't bug him! She always wants to play and since he is an old man, he sleeps a lot and sometimes barks at her when she won't leave him alone! He will play with her but not all the time. It is funny to watch her grab his tail and follow him out the door like that!
Max is staying in the background and watching TV in my room. All the commotion gets to him - he comes out occasionally and of course had his brandy and cigar last nite

Quickly answering
Gail, I have no symptoms today, the worst I get lately are achy knees. Six years ago when I weaned (probably too quickly and did not weigh the balls) it was awful. I was nauseous, achy and I forget what else. I went back on the C because I was so miserable. Now I'm weaning more slowly and it seems to be helping.
Liz, we had a storm Wednesday night!! Yikes, I had my flashlight handy in case the power went out!
