Thank you so much Liz. I hate it too. But with my Lord's help I will make it through it.

PS: Liz, I have a package on the way for Max for Valentine's from me and the kids. I hope he enjoys it, as it should arrive on Valentine's Day. Please let me know if he likes it.

weights heavy
Hope all had a nice Valentine's Day. Mine was good, my hubby and I both had to work. We don't exchange gifts or send flowers or anything. We go to dinner and that's it. We have decided to go to dinner in a couple of weeks with no children allowed.

heavy burdens
*peeks in* Hello???
I feel so small right now. My home life is great, other parts not so much. I feel incredibly small and helpless. I just wish I actually looked as small as I feel The weight will not go away. I know I could exercise and I really need to get off my duff and do it, but it wasn't this hard to motivate myself the last time I lost a great deal of weight. This weekend we were at my husband's warehouse and the kids and I were walking around with him. We went to walk between the wall and a shelf. My wonderfully handsome 9 years old son said "I bet you can't fit through there Mommy."

burdens lightened
Hi raven,
kids don't have filters - but they don't necessarily attach a judgement to an observation. i've learned a lot about life from kids and that's how i work through my anxiety - acceptance: observe without judgement.
when i was on the C i gained a lot of weight. one day my then 4 year old grandson said "grandma, is that a baby in your belly?" my daughter said "he didn't mean that!" i said of course he does! but he had his arms around my neck, obviously my big belly didn't matter to him one bit.
thought i'd drop by and say hi to the gang. its been quite awhile. all's good. very busy. i just celebrated 1 year at my now not-so-new job. i've survived! i marvel at the stories from those who suffer as i did but manage to take care of family, hold a job and more. that's real courage!

symptom occurred
Happy Saturday, everyone!
How is Max getting along, Raven? I'm sure he arrived happy as I suppose he had his burgers on the way!
And, of course, Friday is his favorite evening having his brandy and cigars!
I have not been able to drive since Wed, as my sciatica is so painful... getting old sucks!

Oh poor Liz. It sounds like you need a visit from Max. He can massage you and maybe share his sherry(?) and his cigar. Please keep us posted on the drs visit.
