Tomorrow comes

Is that medication or meditation? Will have to look up the word listless(I'm French).

To me, listless means "without energy", or "drifting aimlessly."  Does that help?

Paper clip

Hi sweet Liz! That birthday is coming soon. Have you started baking cookies? When is your son arriving? If I remember correctly, it's not Paul. It's ??? Memory!!

Frank, exactly what the synonyms dict. says.

Been sitting on the sofa with my heating pad playing cards. Since the operation, after three hours of work, I can barely make it up to the fourth floor. I get tired so easily. But, there is worse.

Captain, sleeping?

Yep, birthday coming too soon. Both Paul and Craig and my daughter-in-law will be here - all get here on the 19th, but they have to spend time at dad's too, so they won't all be here at the same time except for a couple of days.

Don't think I will be baking cookies if my leg isn't better - pulled a muscle :(   Have a great recipe for pan chocolate chip cookies with only 4 ingredients and they're great!  (And a lot easier!)

Hope the heating pad is helping - I tend to use mine often, as well...don't think I could climb all of those stairs, tho :o

Bust busy, no sleeping here. Gail, how did the surgery go and any indications from the surgeon on his thoughts?

Space ship

Liz, I want that recipe please. Four ingredients, my style, fast and easy. Craig, yes.
You ok with that visit?

Captain, he removed the entire kidney. Thank God as it was a stage 4 cancer. One month later, he said that I was cured. Now, wait and see next June for a scan. If it had not been for that super high crazy anxiety, I would say that it went real well. What remains is that I get tired easily and my back hurts from time to time, it never did.

No Liz, talking about the same one, like you, I was a bit confused!

Hi!

Was out at the cemetery putting a new flag on my grandfather's grave...

Same here Liz. We share the same date.
Counting here, my grandfather would be about 126 years old. Young age.

I didn't know you had the same Veteran's Day, Gail :)

Sounds about right for my grandfather, too...my dad would be 102 on the 17th :o

Church today and yes, Chinese food!  Don't know what the chicken is though, cuz it has a really strange consistency (like it had been dehydrated and then liquid added) and had no taste :(   No more chicken dishes for me...

Happened suddenly ah!ah!

Dehydrated chicken???? Or cat???? Or crow???Is that possible???

And my dad would be 93 on the 25th. A wise man, calm and easy going. I wish that I could take after him but those genes went straight to my brother. And I don't take after my mother, brave, courageous and without fear.

So, Captain, where do I come from? Perhaps they found me in a cabbage!!!could be...lol!

Gone crazy

Yes, we are alone as SleepingHat is sleeping and the others are on leave of absence. Just hope to hear from Bobbi and Raven.

Ah Liz, it could have been desydrated rat, oh my God! I wish that I had smilies, I would use the one with the eyes going cross side. FN used them often.

Don't bother to answer Captain as I have found the answer here, I am. Voila!

Over matched

I love tofu soup with a little sesame oil. Yum!!!  But there again I have seen some delicious looking road kill. Never mind.

When Cymbalta took my testosterone levels to the basement I had to stop eating tofu because of the estrogen levels. Oh well, I can't/shouldn't eat much of anything these days. That is life.

Matched perfectly

Road kill?? What is that. I will look it up. What I like is "never mind" which arouses questions. Curious me. Ah Captain, the mysteries!

Right, such is life! Look on the bright side, we dont have another ten or fifteen years to endure this, thank God! By the way, I am not depressed, but fed up of battling over and over. I am not an old soul, which would make it, I think, easier. Such is life, up and down, like the ocean. If

did not

I was feeling kind of good this morning, but all the political stuff quickly stressed me.  Also, one of my favorite news anchors, Gwen Ifill, died today.  She was like Walter Cronkite -- someone you could trust.

So I'm not feeling too good.
