what enigma

Way too many times the term Doc ( short for doctor) is a source of additional stress and excessive degrading verbiage. Like "My doc is an $%#@*(. Something like that. lol

Puzzle unsolved

Now now, those beautiful English expressions. Trying here to understand what this one means. I intend to use it at times. Now, does it mean that my kindness, nah, I don't really catch this.
Can you explain? Kindness outshined by good looks? Thanks!

Your kindness is only outshined by your good looks.

Means.... Your kindness is one of your best characteristics BUT your good looks (beauty) is your best characteristic.

It is so!!!

Hi everyone! :)

Had the flu and pneumonia shots on Fri. (one in each arm) which may account for why I'm not feeling so hot :(

How is everyone else doing??

Liz, I think you are trying to remember triglycerides.

Eckhart Tolle? Is that a communicable disease?

Thanks, FH, but I seem to remember something else - oh, now I remember!  I told her I was craving sweets all the time, so I think it is for diabetes - maybe?

I like your question regarding that disease - I have no idea what it is either - Eckhard Tolle??? :P

Straw hat

Eckhart Tolle is like the master of living in the present moment. Many books on how the ego works and so on. Interesting!

Good morning!

Full pin

French expression meaning no limits.

Liz, how is Max dressed for Halloween? Does he even need a costume? Knowing him, I am sure that he insisted for one. Quite a guy!

Captain, what about you? I imagine you dressed as a farmer and perhaps a cow by your side! Set me straight here.

Was hard finding a costume big enough...

Thanks Liz. I can't get used to this. It's like a doom and gloom feeling. Scary at times for sure. Besides Benadryl, there is nothing that I can do. Powerless!

Hey Gail, is this doom and gloom more like anxiety based, Such as fear, or is it like depression with hopelessness?

Palm tree

No depression. It's anxiety based. Fear is present during the night and when I get up. To different degrees. I can't think then, just consumed by this feeling. Any tricks Captain?
