The only thing that I am sure of is that nothing is sure except higher life after this one. Thank God!

And this morning, ugly ugly outside. White stuff has fallen turning into slush. So windy that Peanut the squirrel could not eat his peanut butter sandwich without falling or being blown away! Cars have one half inch of that white stuff, too early for that.

Bath time, this could be an uneventful day.

Great fall so far. Garden still growing no frost yet and none predicted until mid November. A record for us. First annual frost is normally Oct. 12th. I'll take this kind of weather.

Was down to upper 50's last nite!!  Able to turn off A/C today   Finally, but don't know if it will last - this is a cold front!

 

Cubbies won last nite and are going to the World Series    First game Tues. nite at Cleveland - after 68 yrs of being a die-hard fan, I'm so happy this finally happened in my lifetime!!!  Last time was 71 yrs ago...

How is my Max doing? Traveling? I would like to have him in November, unless he has other plans.

Max is doing fine and is happy with the cooler weather!  My sons and daughter-in-law are coming now the middle of Nov. for my birthday, so I would like Max to stay here for that.  After Thanksgiving week would be fine... good grief, my traveling capybara )

Liz, when is your Thanksgiving? Ours is past. Funny that we don't have it on the same day. I can imagine that you will be baking three kinds of cookies like last year. Looking forward to Max's visit end of November or so.

Gail, our Thanksgiving is Nov. 24 this year - always the 4th Thurs. in Nov.

 

Max can certainly visit you after that - I know that he misses you and your pilot (not to mention Lala! )

I have been receiving e mails from PayPal, many saying that they needed me to refill the form because someone was using my account. I ignored them, till yesterday. I filled in the form, insurance number and all the trimmings.

And? Victim of stolen identity is what happened. They tried to buy 1,333$ of stuff this morning with my info! Visa refused the transaction, thinking that it was not the norm. Wow!
Credit card annulled. Another one will be sent.

This is not PayPal, just someone using their name. Don't bother if you get this E-mail.
