Bad? Not good!

That kind of day that you wish would be over before it begins.

Been talking to myself all day, and now is the time to shut myself up and turn off the light.

Hope yours was better than mine!

Happy Sunday, everyone!

Sunny today, but watching the flooding in NC - horrible!!  I lived in Raleigh for 9 years and love that state...

Hope today is better, Gail :)

Again then

Love that one Liz. I try to do so but I have no answers! I guess that I will have to continue talking till a miracle happens! It's more like complaints that I keep repeating ad vitam eternam.

NC, thank you.

Hope all is well with my dear friends!

Starting Saturday I began getting some viral infection that apparently is going around.  Voice sounds like

Not feeling too bad as long as I don't do anything! :P

Go home

The cigars Liz, the cigars! You should not smoke Max's cigars, they are real strong and can irritate your throat.

Seeing Psychiatrist on Friday, and there I will see where they are at with their prescribing drugs. Thank God for this forum as I have learned plenty, and before putting anything in my mouth, I will triple check. Make that quadruple check! Besitos to My love Max.

I only took one puff of one of those cigars and it was too much for me!  Max must have a throat of leather!

Good to hear that you will be seeing your Psych. Dr., Gail - hope something can be done :)

Max sends you muchos besos and says he misses you...

Grown up

I sure hope so too Liz, this is a hard way of life. Don't wish that on anyone and every day I ask God to act upon this and to give us the strength to live through this awful anxiety.

Max must be happy to be home with the kids. Are they ok?

On that, a good night to all!

Will be awaiting your update, Gail...

I am a bit down today as I lost my only cousin yesterday - a WWII Vet.  He was a great part of my life as I was growing up.  Now he is at peace.

Point taken

Sorry for the pain Liz, yes, he is at peace.

Update now. Long story short, we had a bad start when I told him all the antidepressants that I had tried and that never again would I try one that has something to do with norepinephrine. When i mentioned Wellbutrin That I have tried, he said that it was a norepinephrine inhibitor, I said No, it's not! It's dopamine. He looks at me and says" I am a psychiatrist". That made me doubt his competence.

I was so sure of myself, I got home and checked, he was for sure right! I looked and felt like a fool! I did not really like him but then his job is not to be liked but make me better(his saying). Next, background check. Two hours like that. Did not feel too good about going back in the past.

No real diagnostic yet, a mixed one for the moment. I asked for Lamictal and he was all for it. Oh yes, his specialty is Complex cases! I will see him once a month. I am upset about having to go in the past but if it helps, so be it!

Actually you are both right. Wellbutrin primarily controls dopamine levels BUT your body converts some of the dopamine to norepinephrine thereby exerting control over it as well. Its primary action is on dopamine although.

Hang in there Gail.

taken copiously

A psychiatrist may not have to be your friend, but I'd think a cooperative working relationship would be important.

Copiously ate

I intend to cooperate, the thing is that I am hard headed and after all those years in therapy, reading books, I am saturated. You can't change a monkey after 63 years!

Captain, wikipedia and others state that Wellbutrin is a DNRI, and I have never seen that or I didn't want to see it!

Yesterday's storm only knocked our power out for less than two hours.  Much less wind and rain than the TV hypesters said.
