Was at the grocery store!

 

Just got my new phone as the old one fell on the slate floor and glass cracked!  I have a warranty that allows me a new phone as long as it is the same model.  Now....sync and transfer to new phone!  YIKES!!  I will be on the phone with a rep forever to get this done since I am so technically-challenged

Good morning! Liz, Max is back and will be leaving tomorrow morning to reunite with you.

He made friend with a raccoon female, head over heels in love with her! Can't stop talking about her. He is a very happy one.

This is Max's last day here till next year.

As he just came back from his camping trip with Carl and his kids, he is real happy to sleep in a real bed(with me). For the first time, he had hot dogs and marshmallows, he swam in the river(naked). And he fell in love with Layla, the raccoon. They have a lot in common, including sunglasses.

Carl was very touched by the way Max treated Layla, with respect. There was one argument, Layla wanted to exchange sunglasses with Max, and he refused. He explained though...All is well between them now.

Tonite is again Friday, two days in a row, and Max has mixed emotions about leaving Quebec. I reassure him that he will be back next year. But, again, he is excited to go back to mom. I will miss him and I sure hope to have news about him often. Arizona is in his thoughts, the Grand Canyon, Bobbi's family. I could go on and on about our beloved!

The saga ends here for the time being. And now is the time for his cigar and brandy, which we will share. Special regards to Cowboy!

Hey all!

 

Yep, I'm still alive, but barely.  I have been so stressed since Fri. I actually had a panic attack today before I went to my therp.

 

My computer was hacked on Fri. and I received my new phone - was on the phone w/phone co. for hours.  Trying to transfer data from old phone to new...had to buy a sim card and called them back yesterday (on hold for at least 1/2 hr.)  Long story but entire time on phone w/them Fri and yesterday was about 6 hrs and we still can't do it!

 

Have also had 3 scam calls in 4 days saying it is the IRS and they have filed a lawsuit against me, etc.  My friends have been getting them as well and we just hang up!  Wonder how many more times they will call!

 

Sorry, but I am in a "state"!!!

 

Great to have Max home again and he has been talking nonstop about Dave and Layla!  He had the time of his life

 

BTW, Bobbie, when did you want to get him for Halloween?  He is getting spoiled with all these fun trips!

Well, now we have warnings for Hurricane Matthew...I am in the center of the state and so far this county has tropical storm warnings.

I have seen on TV the lines at Gas Stations and Grocery Stores on the East Coast.

Raven, sorry to hear about problems but we have missed you!

 

Regarding Max, I thought he was going to Bobbie's for Halloween but maybe I am confused - I can't keep up with all of his travel plans

 

It has been great having him home for a while

 

We are now getting ready for the hit from Hurricane Matthew - supposed to be late today and tonite...  Unfortunately, we will probably lose power and I am a hot mess w/o my AC

Thankfully things are not as bad as they were predicting...we have rain on and off and gusty winds but still have power!

Only problem so far for me is that the barometer fell 5 1/2 inches and given me a good deal of pain!  Don't think I ever saw it so low.

Liz glad you are safe! Hope you pain gets better.

 

I've been trying to take it easy.  I have felt so paranoid lately and trying to get myself back to a good place.  Oh how I hate that I ever went on this poison. 

 

Prayers to all and thanks again for all the support.  It is much needed at times.

Had a great week at work, to my surprise. But today I am washed out. Thank God that I don't work on Fridays. Thanks for asking.

Just got home. Finished, over and done! Yea!!!  I am just kicking back and watching some tv. I really didn't do too bad and it shouldn't take me over a day or two to settle down. Thank you all for the prayers and thank the Lord.
