Bobbi, in your post saying "no way", just besides your words was like an image like a video thing and an arrow to start that video. My English stinks here, sorry. English, I so love this language!

Happy to say that Max has left this morning for his camping trip and will be back next Thursday.
He could not stand still, he was besides himself when he woke up this morning. His yellow lunch box ready for the four hour trip, I checked, no brandy in it. All dressed up with his black hat, black trench and of course his sunglasses even though it was raining. I love this guy!

He will be back Thursday, spend Friday here, then on his way to Florida for a week before going to Bobbi's. You must miss him so much Liz! I will let you know what time to expect him.

Thanks for the update on Max, Gail!  This is his first camping trip, so no wonder he was excited!! (Happy you checked for brandy, this being Fri. and all) :lol:And yes, I do miss him :( 

 

To answer your question about the apple cart - normally it is not referred to as anyone's - it is a thing, an expression.  For instance, you could say that "he said he wasn't coming, but he did, and it really upset the apple cart".  Does this make sense?  If not, I will try again... :)

Enjoy the game and possibly Chinese food?

By the way, Max called and is thrilled by all the new things around him. No alligators around, nor BBQ's. Of course yesterday was his fiesta night and my pilot shared his brandy witb Max and he even had the real cigars from Havana. The party they had, Max is so happy to have a new friend to confide in.

Carl, the pilot, cannot believe how Max is so well behaved and how much he knows(thanks to Doc. (For those new here, Doc is Fishinghat). (Max is our fictional capybara)

Seems that he talks a lot about mom, his trips, his fears, his joys!

We got the best capybara on earth! And thank God we have him. It sure takes our mind off the upsetted applecart!

And, hey Doc, don't worry, we will try to take care of whatever comes up! Take care.
