He is fictional but quite real somehow.
Raven took him last weekend and now it's my turn.
On Friday, he has a special bubble bath, then the bath robe. Followed by brandy and a cigar.
Now our beloved FH had in mind to BBQ poor Max. He is traumatized by this. He can read the forum ! And I found him crying one morning last year about this. Max is so sensible!
Perhaps you could take him in a few weeks as he is going camping with my ( fictional) pilot!
So this is our beloved Max!

Busy here today! Max found the coral mushrooms, the ones that our boy showed on the forum last September. Rare, we are eating them tonite.
Quite a nose our Max has!
Was supposed to go metal detecting but my friend had a wedding to attend. Max will join us when we go.
Besides that, I have another dreary companion today which I could do without. The bear is there with its spooky fears.
Boy, sending the bear to Missouri for you to BBQ. I know, you don't eat greasy meat, but for once...
BB, Max will be free when he gets back from his camping trip. Around October the7th, a Friday, in time for his brandy and cigar night. You will love him, your son also. His kids will adore him.
Liz, I should have asked permission for this, I am sure that you would have said yes!

choice made
Wonderful that Max is such a great mushroom hunter! Enjoy your dinner, you 2!!
I didn't realize the camping trip would be so long, but it's OK with me if Max is so excited about it! He can continue on with his travels if he chooses, or he may want to come home for a short time - it's up to him! I know that he would like to be home by Halloween.
You will love him BB and he loves kids!
Sorry about the bear, Gail - wish he would hibernate!

it stays
I am afraid that bear would be too tough to BBQ. He has been around a long time for sure. It reminds me of an old indian recipe for cooking an old grizzly bear. Go out in the woods and cut a fresh green pine slab of wood. Dress the bear and put to or three of his steaks on the pine slab over the camp fire. Let it cook slowly for 5 or 6 hours. Throw the steaks away and eat the pine slab.

Well of course Max read the forum this morning and was quite excited about your plans BB.
It took a while for him to calm down. Not sure about the sombrero, he can't let go of his black hat!
Meanwhile the bear roams around, so exhausted by this.
