bomb shelter
I believe he was captured about 14 or 15 stories up. Not sure what his method was but I saw a gif on the internet that showed him trying to go around the window the police were at and they grabbed him and wrestled him inside.

Today is massage day and Sherman has recovered. He was really sick yesterday but don't know why. Had to actually carry him up the stairs to the patio - he appeared to be in much pain

released energy
Yes, Liz - Today seems to be a little better. Everything seems to like I'm walking through a fog. It's almost like I'm blocked by the fog. Like where I'm at doesn't exist. The people around me, my family, husband and children, they exist with me, but my atmosphere doesn't exist.

time out
I bet you will all find this interesting if you ever watched the show.
In 1962 the first appearance of a space-faring Robinson family was in a comic book published by Gold Key Comics. The Space Family Robinson, who were scientists aboard Earth's "Space Station One", are swept away in a cosmic storm in the comic's second issue. These Robinsons were scientist father Craig, scientist mother June, early teens Tim (son) and Tam (daughter), along with pets Clancy (dog) and Yakker (parrot). Space Station One also boasted two spacemobiles for ship-to-planet travel.
Lost in Space is an American science fiction television series following the adventures of a family of pioneering space colonists who struggle to survive in a strange and often hostile universe after their ship was sabotaged and thrown off course. It was created and produced by Irwin Allen, filmed by 20th Century Fox Television, and broadcast on CBS. The show ran for three seasons, with 83 episodes airing between 1965 and 1968. The first television season was filmed in black and white, with the second and third seasons filmed in color.
In 1998, New Line Cinema produced a Lost in Space feature film.
Second television series
In late 2003, a new television series, with a somewhat changed format, was in development in the U.S. It originally was intended to be closer to the original pilot with no Smith, but including a robot, had an additional older Robinson child called David, and Penny was a mere baby. The pilot (titled, The Robinsons: Lost in Space) was commissioned by The WB Television Network. It was directed by John Woo and produced by Synthesis Entertainment, Irwin Allen Productions, Twentieth Century Fox Television and Regency Television.
Third television series version in development
On October 10, 2014, it was announced that "Legendary TV" is developing a new reboot of Lost in Space and they have hired Dracula Untold screenwriters Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless to pen the new epic. As of November 2015 no further word has been officially released regarding the project; however, Kevin Burns of Synthesis entertainment is involved. On June 29, 2016, Netflix has ordered the series with 10 episodes.
Little known facts
Props for the show were regularly recycled between Irwin's series as a matter of budgetary convention, and the same alien would appear on Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea on one day and Lost in Space the next. A sea monster outfit would do its tour of duty on Voyage, get a spray job for its Lost in Space appearance, and so on back and forth in this manner. The clear round plastic pen holder used as a control surface in "The Derelict" turned up regularly throughout the show's entire run. The foreboding derelict ship from season 1 was redressed to become the Vera Castle in season 3, which, in turn, was reused in several episodes and flipped upside down for one of them. The Fuel Barge from season 2 became a Space Lighthouse in season 3 in a direct lift of footage from the earlier story. The derelict ship was used again in season 3 after its color was changed, and the same for the alien pursuer's ship in the "Sky Pirate", used again for "Deadliest of the Species". Meanwhile, Hapgood's ship lifting off in episode 6 was shown for almost every subsequent ship launch, no matter what shape the ship had on the ground.
The open and closing theme music was written by John Williams, the composer behind the Star Wars theme music, who was listed in the credits as "Johnny Williams".
Catchphrases
Lost in Space is remembered, in part, for the Robot's oft-repeated lines such as "Warning! Warning!" and "That does not compute". Smith's frequent put-downs of the Robot were also popular, and Jonathan Harris was proud to talk about how he used to lie in bed at night dreaming them up for use on the show. "You Bubble-headed Booby!", "Cackling Cacophony", "Tin Plated Traitor", "Blithering Blatherskyte", and "Traitorous Transistorized Toad" are but a few alongside his trademark lines: "Oh, the pain... the pain!" and "Never fear, Smith is here!" One of Jonathan Harris's last roles was providing the voice of the illusionist praying mantis "Manny" in Disney's A Bug's Life, where Harris used "Oh, the pain... the pain!" near the end of the film.
The catchphrase "Danger, Will Robinson!" originates with the series, but was only ever used once in it, during episode 11 of season 3 ("The Deadliest of the Species"), when the Robot warns young Will Robinson about an impending threat. It was also used as the slogan of the 1998 movie, whose official website had the address www.dangerwillrobinson.com.

out numbered
Ahh, guys I may be too young to remember the original series, but I did catch some re-runs growing up. Plus I did see the movie.
Lost in Space (film)
Lost in Space is a 1998 American science fiction adventure film directed by Stephen Hopkins and starring William Hurt, Matt LeBlanc, and Gary Oldman. The film was shot in London and Shepperton, and produced by New Line Cinema. The plot is adapted from the 1965–1968 CBS television series Lost in Space. The film focuses on the Robinson family, who undertake a voyage to a nearby star system to begin large-scale emigration from a soon-to-be uninhabitable Earth, but are thrown off course by a saboteur and must try to find their way home.
Several of the actors from the original TV series had cameos in the film.
PlotIn the year 2058, Earth will soon be uninhabitable due to irreversible effects of pollution. The United Global Space Force prepares the first launch for the colonization of a distant planet much like our own. Meanwhile, a terrorist group, the Global Sedition, wants to interrupt the colonization to be able to take over the same planet themselves. Professor John Robinson, lead scientist of the Jupiter Mission, prepares to take his wife Maureen, daughters Judy and Penny and son Will on a 10-year mission in suspended animation to the nearby planet Alpha Prime, where they will build a companion "hypergate" to the one orbiting Earth. The project is accelerated after Global Sedition terrorists attack Earth's hypergate, but are stopped by fighter pilots, one of whom is Major Don West. When the pilot for the Jupiter Mission is murdered, West is assigned as his replacement.
Dr. Zachary Smith, a spy employed by the Global Sedition, reprograms the mission's robot to destroy the ship. He is betrayed, though, by his employers and left as an unwilling stowaway when the Jupiter II blasts off. A few hours after launch, the robot activates and starts destroying vital ship and navigation controls. The Robinsons, awakened from their cryosleep by Dr. Smith, stop the robot, but not before it causes the ship to become trapped in the gravitational pull of the Sun. Their only option to escape the gravity well would be to use the hyperdrive and end up anywhere in the galaxy. Now lost, the ship eventually comes across a "hole in space" and, after entering, finds a planet with two abandoned ships in orbit; the Proteus, an Earth ship somehow from decades in the future, and another ship that is clearly not human. When they investigate the Proteus they find navigational data that can be used to get to Alpha Prime (suggesting that humanity has somehow settled on Alpha Prime without the Robinsons) and a young alien primate that they adopt as a pet. They also find the aging ship is infested with carnivorous spider-like lifeforms, with the leg of one accidentally scratching Dr. Smith during an attack. To escape the spiders' attack, Don reactivates and overloads the Proteus' engine, with the shock wave from the resulting explosion damaging the Jupiter II and forcing it to crash on the planet below.
Professor Robinson and Major West go out onto the surface in search of radioactive material to replace the burnt-out part of the ship's core. They find a strange, growing bubble of unknown origin, which they must enter. They learn that the "holes" and "bubbles" are distortions of time and space, caused by future versions of Will and Dr. Smith constructing a time machine. The future Will Robinson wants to travel back in time to prevent the Robinsons from ever taking off. Robinson and West find out the bubble is actually a small schism in time on the same planet. They are all betrayed by the future Smith, who has mutated due to the spider scratch going untreated. He plans to unleash an army of spiders on the Earth. Robinson battles with Spider Smith while Major West returns to the stranded Jupiter II to evacuate everyone. Robinson stops Spider Smith by tearing open his eggsac, freeing the baby spiders, who then attack the injured Spider Smith. John pushes the mutated Smith into the uncompleted time portal, where he is torn apart by the gravitational field.
The others attempt to escape the planet in the Jupiter II, as the time machine's warping tears everything apart. They are unable to reach escape velocity and the ship is destroyed by flying debris. Future Will finally recognizes his father's deep love for his family and allows him to travel back through the time portal to before the Jupiter II attempts to escape. Knowing that the escape velocity won't be enough, John commands West to pilot the ship through the planet's core as it breaks up, using the planet's gravity to propel the ship out the other side. They escape, but the collapsed planet forms a small black hole that begins to suck the Jupiter II back in. To escape, the Robinsons once again activate the hyperdrive, using the Alpha Prime navigational data from the Proteus to blast off again, into potentially unknown space.

days few
Gail - I didn't use to be too much into research until all this started happening with me. My husband always knew all about all these things and I was all like "Why do you know so much about trivial things." He would always tell me that it's only trivial until you have use for it. Well, here I am on this board with you guys and thankful for your support. But I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for research. In fact I might not even be here period if I had listened to him in the first place.
I love you guys.
