where indeed
Gail asked what the temperature was... 'And somewhere in the stratosphere?'.
Now you know the rest of the story.
Here it is only 96 with a heat index of 105 and I am laying concrete. Glad I am almost done.

heat exchanger
Concrete all done and in the AC.
Do you all know that everyone has at least one heat exchanger in their house? These are the radiators you see on AC units, car radiators, refrigerators, freezers, dehumidifiers, etc. They are called heat exchangers because they exchange the heat from the water or gas (Freon) to the air around them.

No Way
I think we are both lost Gail. I can find no record of a Startosphere New York other than in a song. There is a Statosphere Sound company in New York where that song and many many others have been recorded. There is also a Stratosphere Las Vegas which isn't even a city in Nevada but a hotel and casino in Las Vegas. (I have actually seen this place but never been inside).

out numbered
Okay, guys let me clear it up for you. Somewhere in the Statosphere is the title of a CD by the group Shinedown. The line is actually used in the song Second Chance which is on that CD. I thought it an appropriate place to call home considering my chosen name here of Raven. Research Raven and DC Comics and you will see that she is a girl born into evil who joins the Teen Titans to battle Evil because she doesn't believe someone has to be evil just because they are born into it. She also struggles with this right up until she finally defeats her father Trigon in the ultimate battle between Good and Evil saving her friends in the process.
Hope that clears it all up.
