Oh, dear Gail....no ice and benzo problems - not good

 

Good to hear that you are walking some - even in that heat!  I wish that I could walk but can't make it around the block w/the arthritis in my foot.  I feel so bad for my dogs as they love walks!

Gail, feeling the heat you are experiencing.  I'm sure you have a successful way to keep cool.  What ever works for you to stay cool!

 

Oh my the heat index where I am is hitting 115.....it's hot very hot.  I'm actually in a cooler place than where my next destination is....wow.... thank God for air conditioned, cars, hotels, restaurants. and homes....

 

I'm having the hard time adjusting to the slower speed down here...lol lol lol.  I'm fast person and from NYS......wow. This beats the heat for me.  Everyone here is so layed back and slow...for me at least....lol lol lol

Still hot and humid here, that is beginning to be a problem especially when time for bed.
I do hate winter, but when it's time for bed, it is deliciously good under the covers!

Carleeta, you make me smile... I moved from outside of Chicago to Hawaii in 1984 - talk about S L O W - everything was manana!

Now almost 25 years below the Mason-Dixon line and there is no other way!!

As these heat keeps rising here, and the pace is overwhelming slow, as TryinginFL in florida knows. Heat index is 116 right know. I truly don't know how you do it Liz.....

Gail, I'm understanding this heat must be unbearable to sleep at night. It's a wonderful vacation here on the Emerald Coast. The Hilton Sandestin resort and spa is just breathtaking. I stayed here in October and loved it ever since

I lived on Maui for 2 1/2 years - it was quite an experience!  That's where I met Kris Kristofferson and was able to ride (horses) with him and his family many times.  What a great guy!  He was here in Lakeland a few years ago and I went to the show and he remembered me!  (OH, be still my heart!)

About Chris, my cousin had a short love affair with him perhaps 40 years ago. She was wild, living in the States somewhere. She loved horses, still a way of life for her.

Played bridge this afternoon - 1st time in 2 weeks.  I do enjoy it...

 

Cubs won in 12 innings last nite - 10th inning ended at 1230am so went to bed while it was being recorded in the other room.  Silly me!  I had only set the DVR for 1 hr longer so it only recorded to the point where I went to bed!  Couldn't see last 2 innings this morning
