 again, really?

I have a reunion this fall but will not be going - it's going to be a several day thing in Palm Springs, CA.  Can't imagine why, as we graduated from HS in Hinsdale, IL.  Expensive, as well

really prepared

That's not that odd to me Liz.  My cousin Sue who lived here in NYS, was having her reunion in Sarasota, FL.  It just happened to be in the spring and many of the individuals were either in Florida for the winter months or they didn't mind traveling there.  Infact this reunion included all graduates from the same high school and all years.  I went down with her and her husband one year, although there wasn't anyone from my graduating class....lol lol lol.  Needless to say my cousin was 15 years older than me... I did loose her last fall  to cancer and we were extremely close.  It's been very hard for me since we were extremely close.....like sister.... Anyway.....I absolutely love Sarasota and will be there soon.

Yes, going to your class reunion can be very costly.......close or far away.....lol lol lol.  Ours is a three day affair....

Gail, I'm sorry you are not feeling well today.  I agree with Liz and you'll need some ginger ale, a few saltine crackers.  :(

Good morning all!  A pleasant day to everyone.

Raven, I sure can understand that. When I was going through withdrawal I was so amped up, nervous, excited and totally fatigued at the same time.

Raven, exhausted here also.

Yes for ginger ale, no roots for me. A sip here and there. Nothing magical, is there such a thing in withdrawal?

When like this, no way am I going into the woods. Time and time. Thought I had it licked yesterday just to remember that progress is not linear...

Mixed emotions

I have no a/c, only a bath in which I go in and out many times to cool myself. Then, in front of the fan I go and have to cover up for a few minutes. A pain, but it helps!

*************************************

Really tough here lately. Have an appointment to see someone next week.  Really tired about half way through the day.  Although it would appear I have lost about 10lbs since getting off the sinful drug, I still don't have the energy to anything worthwhile enough to help me lose more weight. Not for lack of wanting.

Raven, the no motivation is part of this journey - actually, I still don't have any! I lost the 30 lbs. I gained - it just comes off in time

thunderstorms abound.

Gail. if you have access to some ice put it in a container, set it in front of your fan and have a seat. It really helps. You can also place a cold washcloth around your neck.

Fired away

Got no ice, well not enough. Humidity is sky high. We can hardly breathe here.
Started to walk again yesterday, so glad. Feeling better and get tired easily.

Fisherman is right when he says that you should never never up your dosage of Benzos while tapering. A high price to pay. I should have gotten drunk instead...but he did not say that!
