Well I spoke with the doctors office today and explained my symptoms.....I still feel as though I am underwater here......my head hurts when bending down......pressure for sure.  The bronchial seems a better today, although not cleared up yet.  Either way he prescribed Z-Pak......

******************************

Liz - So, far so good.  Tonight I say goodbye to a dear friend. I've known him since I was knee high to a grasshopper. Had a crush on him when I was a little girl.  He and my Daddy were in a band together and he sang at my Daddy's memorial service. Tonight I go to his and it breaks my heart, but I know he is happy because he is with Daddy along with his wife and son who went before him.

unexpected grief

I'm so sorry, Raven.  I completely understand how you feel - I still miss my daughter and she has been  gone for 7 years now.

Funny, I have been dreaming about all of my kids a lot lately and those dreams are very vivid.

Need to talk to my therapist about this...

needed clarification

I tell you what Liz, I have been real impressed with the group here where I live. They are about 50/50 mixed whites and blacks and they come out and peacefully protest any type of suspected police brutality as well as any situation where an officer is assaulted and/or hurt. They raise money for police families who have had a loved one hurt in the line of duty and provide support and calming voices when a black family has had a loved one hurt at the hands of the police. It is a shame that not all groups are like that. More anger and violence will only make things worse.

I'm out of "likes" FH, but that was a great post!  If only it could be this way everywhere :(

These attacks are becoming too frequent as well - makes me want to stay in my house w/all of the doors locked.

given a chance

Given a chance many groups would do harm to some or all of us. Gail mentioned the safety of living in a small town. It is my understanding that ISIS has some of the best internet hackers there are. Recently they were able to hack into the employee personal information in a City library. ISIS posted all the employees pictures, addresses, phone numbers, etc on one of their websites with the message to 'kill them all'. The town is in Arkansas and has a population of 1200. No one is safe.

meeting offiicals

TNF, I starting to feel a bit better each day.  It's been a rough week, although I did get out a bit today..

Yes, it's horrible what happened in Munich, and little innocent children at that.  It does appear to happen in bigger cities from what we see and hear on tv.  It's true we don't hear things going on in much smaller cities, towns, or villages.

Fishinghat, your area is just wonderful.  They seem to care about everyone.  My area does the same with the police officers and families of officers and victims.  We have something new in our area which I like.  It's called "walk the streeets".  The officer are walking through areas daily and once a month they find someone or many in need.  Two weeks ago there were 4 police officers in Walmart when I was there (all this was unbeknownst to me at the time) and there where grouped in an area with different cultural children.  Of course I  didn't know what was going on at the time although I had a feeling it wasn't bad. Upon leaving Walmart I noticed a police van and a man with a camera. When I saw the evening news, there is was...the van,the children and the police officers.  They had found out these children had their bikes stolen and were there taking these children to get bicycles and helmets which were donated by our local Walmart.  Walmart donated the helmets and the bikes were bought by our local police department.  it's a wonderful things to see the police officers interacting with our young children....

Up at 6am.....couldn't sleep past 6.  Must be I'm staring to feel like myself again.  Still feel some sinus and bronchial congestion, although nothing like I had.

Wishing you all a wonderful day.  I am supposed to go to the mountains today and I am supposed to attend a combined 50th and 16th birthday party today on Oneida Lake.  Two different directions at the same time today,12pm.... Don't think I should attend either one.  Just want to rest it up for my upcoming vacation/trip which I leave on Wednesday...

Wishing you all a great morning and a great weekend......

off balance

That's how I was feeling for a few (a bit longer than a few).....off balance.  Getting better though.....

My 6am was not intentional. I didn't have to be at the lab.  It was just a bad night and I woke up at 6am and couldn't get back to sleep.  That's part of being off balance....
