Carleeta, the rain you are getting comes from Sherbrooke. We hardly had any, except yesterday. Lawns are dry and yellow.
My mushrooms need water, lots. No water, no mushroom. Anyway, not in top shape for that.
Raven, I enjoyed your ex topic, too bad it was taken away.
Liz, I see it from here, funny picture!
And Fisherman, going to Missouri to get rid of your mushrooms. Eat fruit, vegetable, and relax!

----------
Hi friends, just checking in ...looks like I've missed a lot of posts / discussion, will catch up on Monday (when I should be working, hehehe ) my vacay, which ends Monday, has included a bit of a break from the internet so haven't been here as much ... have cleaned my apartment, read a pile of books ... bought new (used) bookcases from Craigslist, so my other piles of books on the floor are now on shelves and organized ... took my cat Pumpkin to the vet (teeth cleaned, 6 bad ones pulled, and a mani-pedi and bath ... quite a budget buster all totaled) .... and naps very day ... can't believe how much I've slept ... today seems to be my "weekly bad day," post-Wellbutrin feeling lousy ... so another nap is about to happen ... looks
So sorry you've got a summer cold, Carleeta ... they are for sure the worst ... and you, being typically so high energy and active, must really drive you nuts ... this horrid hot weather (which I think you're getting also?) likely adds to it, huh?
Gail, are you due to go back to the doc for a post-op checkup? Or did I miss that?

dock safely,
Thank you everyone for your prayers and concerns. I still feel miserable, although not as bad as yesterday. For once in a very very very very long time I took a rest and watched some tv from my bed.... it's been years since I've done that during the day. Looks like I might be doing that again today. I do need the rest that's for sure.
Have a wonderful day all.

rest agreed
Thank you Liz the prayers are greatly appreciated. Just finished my airborne drink (I usually have airborne prior to vacations and during the flu season or when I'm exposed to colds and flu at home and the lab) which is healthy anyway....lol lol lol. Then off to my decongestant med and then the mucinex. Just one more day of rest and I think I'll be able to function better. It's been a good 2 years since I had a cold...and I don't like it.
Is anyone else here or have a family member playing Pokeman to Go. Omg if I wasn't feeling sick I think I might get addicted to it. My whole family is going crazy on this game. I feel the psychological part of this is absolutely great (getting out doors instead of sitting home on these games) and then again I feel, here we go again, another Candy Crush game......lol lol lol

on point
I have a 33 yr old niece with an advanced degree playing Pokemon Go. My wife and I are at the beach this weekend - a beautiful spot on the Oregon coast - and yes, I've seen several people following their mobile devices around on the sand. I hope none of the pocket monsters are swimming in the Pacific Ocean - it's very cold water up here.

floor covering
Thank you Liz for asking. I'm still feeling lousy. First it's my throat, then its my stuffy nose and congestion, then it's in my chest, and today it's in my sinuses. It's so uncomfortable. If I feel like this tomorrow and the next day I will give my PC a call. My teeth even hurt today.....geeesh

hurts inside
Yes, I've just put a call into my PC. he will get back to me sometime today and I hope its soon. It seems the congestion in my bronchial area has let up. Unfortunately my head still hurts and my nasal passages are still congested. Since I have a tendency to self diagnose I've come up with two possibilities. 1) Sinus infection 2) bronchitis........we shall wait to see what the dr thinks....
Have a great day everyone

Just slipped back into that hole. Exactly like Cymbalta withdrawal the first weeks. Awful!
Liz, you received my e mail?
Raven, hard times for you also. So hard to believe that this too shall pass! We need to repeat and repeat this to ourselves.
Dr Carleeta, I agree that it is sinusitis. Hello antibiotics!
