I eat them also as I am afraid of smoking anything but cigarettes. Paranoia gets to me and I would say that I have enough of my stinking bear by me without adding another one!

Hit 94 today with heat index of 104....bad day....threats of sever thunder storms.....nothing but raindrops.....

Hot hot and hot! Expecting real bad weather in afternoon, great, just like Liz, I love thunder and lightning.

No mushrooms, but magnetic rocks found in a creek. Hope today is a better day.

I am not surprised it is gone. It was a good idea but heavy on religion (which I like thank you) but the Administrator has said before that he doesn't want this site to develop and religion or political strife so he tries to keep the two subjects to a minimum.  I don't think anyone here tries to force religion or a specific belief on anyone else but I have seen sites that get real tied up in arguments and hurt feeling even when the site does not have anything to do with religion.

My garden is fantastic this year. Lots of rain and warm. Don't talk about grass though. I have been cutting it every 5 or 6 days. Normally at this time of year it is all brown and dead.

With all the rain we are finally getting, my grass gets so high that Bentley is up to his shoulders!  I can find Sherman because he is such a light color.

 

My lawn guy only comes every other week, so the 2nd week is pretty bad, but he only charges me $30    I'm thankful for small favors...

Where is all this rain coming from? It rains 3 to 4 times a week.  It's very unusual for this time of year for here....hhmmmmm
