creepy movie
I recently learned to appreciate the house centipedes in my basement. They don't bite people and they are good at catching other bugs. Besides, they run away too fast for me to do anything about it; so live and let live

worms (upthread mention) ... I've always loved 'em for some reason ... when I was a kid, after it rained, I'd go out and rescue them from being "stranded" on the sidewalk, move them to the grass ... I still do that when I'm out walking after a rain ... my thought as a kid (and now) is that if I were stranded in the desert, I'd want someone to rescue me ... so, I guess if I ever really am stranded in the desert, maybe a zillion big ol' worms will show up to return the favor and somehow get me to the nearest oasis 
As for you centipedes, Frank ... amazing, but evoke a big "eeeww" from me ... had lots when I lived in West VA ... would never kill one, and am certainly glad they move fast ....like you, I say "live and let live" ...just not near me, preferably ... 
Prayers for our dear member Gail ... hoping to hear soon that she came through her surgery with flying colors ...

Yes, it would be a great series.
It's amazing how much something as simple as a cup of coffee can make you cry. Today is a co-workers last day here at work. We always make coffee in the afternoon and get it together or I take it to her. Today I took her the last cup I will ever take her and I just welled up in tears. She and I haven't always gotten along, but she's been a great help to me lately and I've appreciated that. She is doing what she has to do but I just hate that she is having to leave with no job to go to.

weekend holiday
This was always my favorite time of the summer - more so when my kids were young..
Fireworks are set off at the end of the lake behind my house so I have a great view from my patio! Max loves them!! The dogs - not so much...

TFL and I heard from Gail ... she came through surgery, and may be discharged today ! Also, pretty groggy from the pain-killers... and in need of continued prayers

Dirty ideas
Hi! Still here at the hospital. Getting a 4 hour phosphate intravenous and my brother will get me home after. Four hours, holy.....
Feeling depressed but so ready to go back to my place.
Thanks all for the prayers. My son just went back to Montreal, good for him as he could not deal with the hospital anymore.
Always found that people criticizing hospital food were rather fancy, difficult, so sorry for that judgement. It is definitely borderline of Disgusting
