To lazy to check definition a out of likes for you both!
I could have written this Liz!
And where is our boy hiding these last few days? Sure hope that the bear is not keeping you company FH. Unless my bear took a hike to Missouri, if so, I don't want him back.
BBQ it! Well done, real well done!

meaning hot
96 with a heat index of 102!! No bear would be out in this heat. No bear here but very busy this time of year (garden, cutting grass, trimming and sweating).
As far as anxiety...Holding steady. Tolerable as long as I stay within my comfort zone.
God bless all and hello.

smiles wide
What a wide range of emotional stability ranges today. I see some are having ebbs and flows with their minds and others are holding pretty steady. Maybe some day we will all range on the same page. With smiles, of course.
Bears, I'm afraid of them. I'm a city dweller, although not too far from the Adirondacks. Even the thought of a tent or camping has me making sure the electricity is close by for the air mattress, charging my phone, and tablet. I still have to be where there are cellular waves and a wifi I can hook up to. Therefore, camping in my backyard might work, although I'd go inside once the bugs came and would end up in my own bed. Doubt I'd see a bear, Thank God for those angels......

Good morning all. It's a bright and early lab morning for you, just 4 hours today and I'm out of there. Weather beautiful here. Having a cup of decaf on back patio. Listening to the birds, smelling the morning air, and watching the morning come alive. Have a great day all. I'll check back in when I get off at noon.

Hi TFL !
We had a gorgeous thunder storm here late last night ... was able to sleep with the windows open, a/c off, and the sound of rain / thunder ... reminded me of growing up in NYS (up in Carleeta's neck of the woods, so to speak) ... this morning, yuck ... back to sticky / humid a/c on full blast weather ... when I lived in Florida (Lake County, Mt Dora, Tavares area) I used to look forward to the huge thunder and lightning storms we had ... seemed like late afternoon was the best time ... as a kid in NYS, I'd climb out on the roof of our house, to sit and watch the storms roll in ... my poor mother

I liked Touched By An Angel but the one I liked was Highway to Heaven. One of my favorite's Haven ended last year. I finally got to finish watching the rest of it on my DVR and I have to say, it has some sad points but I liked the way it ended.

at home
Gail, I've been going out for errands and appointments and am so tired when I get home, I have no energy! Also, it is so miserably hot that it makes me ill if I stay out in it. I have had heat exhaustion before and have all blinds and drapes closed !
FN, your happy place looks so cool and serene! I imagine my son has been there as he is NW Manager for the National Parks Assoc. Conservation....he gets to some really cool places!
Hope everyone's having a great day!

You remind me of what is to come, windows and doors and blinds closed! I tend to forget about this as it has not arrived yet here. I know the feeling! Exhausted you must be. Hope you have a game on tonite.
Great job your son has, he has to be in love with nature!

We're having a storm here with more predicted for tonite and it was raining so hard, water was leaking under my patio doors into
my "mess room" - where my dogs, Max and I hang out! (This is where the TV is and yes there is a game on tonite!!!

opened eyes
No No No, LIZ, I'll be in Florida in a couple of weeks. Don't like hearing you are not enjoying the sunny weather. I do understand how this weather affects you in a negative way. Our winters up here in NYS are just as bad as your hot humid summers. The storms you are having now, are soooo scary to me. Probably like our bad winters with ice. I'm hoping days get better for you. I'm also hoping my 6 week trip to Florida then California (4 in Florida; Naples,Marco Island, West Palm, Miami, and Destin and 2 weeks in San Francisco, California) will be easier on my body because my pain loves the heat. My eyes are wide open after reading your post. Two weeks are work related in CA the other is a vacation to visit family and a few friends. I'm glad your game is on tonight. Stay dry. Love hearing about your son. He's very lucky to have you.
Hang in there everyone. We live where we live and endure all the good and bad. The good always overrides the bad.
A good night to all.

Liz, make sure you drink plenty of Gatorade, or what ever can replenish your electrolytes. I too have to be careful not to dehydrate.
