I'd say it aptly describes my years on crapalta ... :P

Stuff behind

Interesting about the boiling frog. Thanks FN for the link.

Oh wow, I feel as though I have been in the twilight zone and slowly getting out.
There is, there seems to be a blood cloth lodged in the right urethere(French) following the uretheroscopy and cystoscopy done last Tuesday.

And I thought that anxiety was the worst, wrong wrong and wrong. The pain is out of this world. Going back for ultrasound in afternoon.

On that, good morning!

Life beginning

All in the clear, blood cloth has passed so I think.
Swollen urethere of course.

If I see an other emergency room, I think that I will be sick!

Desperate people, desperate staff, overworked, depressing sight.
A place where humanity barely exists, it does exist at times, and thank God we have them...just the same.

People can wait here up to 15hours and more at times,to be seen. So sorry for all of them.

Enough of that, I will enjoy a brandy, perhaps two!

Optimistic thoughts

Sure is. A pitiful sight. I am serious about that PTSD. One of my worst fear was and is, the hospital. Boy, was I ever served.

Spring is coming back in the province. Last two days, I had to put on heat in the place.

And now, if the monster can come back from the roof, I will go check the woods.

message alert

---

sorry, couldn't think of anything better to go with "message" ...

Gail, wonderful news !

Our ERs are equally bad here in the US ... my buddy Fr. Gerry ended up in one last month, with a leaky artery ... they couldn't find a bed for him after the surgery ("noninvasive procedure") ... so post-op they sent him back to the ER

disliked personnel

Gail, you are in my prayers.  Good news about the blood clot.  I know all to well about the ER's.They are unfortunately not a sight for sore eyes, let alone for someone who is not feeling well.  I'm down there at least 3 times a week for some nurse who doesn't understand our new technology for getting specimens into the lab.  It's basically because we (all hospitals, clinics, and medical offices) are so understaffed.  All that matters is you were treated properly...

FN. hope your friend is doing better.  A rough go of it for sure.

Raven. your in the 90's and here in NY we are in the high 50's.  Can't believe our weather.  My heat has been back on for three days...very unusual for us this time of year.  looking for the 70's tomorrow and climbing thereafter.

Fishinghat.....Hello! Hello! Hello!.......

personnel change

-----

Realized the other day that for the first time in over 20 years I no longer have a psychiatrist on my list of "medical personnel" ... because no more crapalta or Wellbutrin (or benzos or paxil or celexa or lexapro etc etc etc)... a most welcome personnel change !!  :P

Closer together

Today was a great day! Did many things pleasurable.

When those days come, boy, what a joy!

Walking in a trail this morning and I find some kind of cylinder about four or five inch high. I pick it up, look at it, price tag 19.99$. What the heck is this? Open the top part and I find that it contains pot! Look it up on Internet, a Marijuana grinder. Anyone for it?

Raven, as I said, doing good for today! I do hope you turn this corner soon.

Wonderful way to savor the good days, Gail ! And that's quite a "find" out there in the woods ... never heard of a m**** grinder ... well, now you've got some "special spice" to add to your "salad" ... what the heck, maybe it'd help put The Bear to sleep ?!   :P
