mishaps happen

Sorry about the one earlier post. I didn't mean to offend anyone. If you don't know what I am talking about that's OK. Don't worry about it.

Happen fast

You lost me dear boy and that is OK also.

How are you doing really with that pest of a flue or flu or is it flux or four or flat?

Where is my lovely Liz today? As usual, off to bedā™„

feet dragging

Today's saga has been absolutely too much...  As you know, I took my car in for a recall fix of some valve, or something last week

Had Therp appt. today and when almost there (20 miles away) my car started some strange knocking.  When I pulled into the parking space there was smoke coming out from under the hood!

Waited over 1 1/2 hrs for tow truck after my appt. and had to ride in truck to Chevy Dealer (back the 20 miles)  My neighbor picked me up there and he thought it odd that nothing was wrong with my car until I took it in to them last week.  They are supposed to call to let me know what is wrong and when it will be ready (and $$$ as well, I'm sure!)

Thankfully I had started freeing up my calendar this morning as I can't keep running at this rate...   Therefore, I have no plans for tomorrow or Wed. so I won't miss the car.  Greg (my neighbor) said he would talk to them if they tried to charge for something unrelated to the work they did last week.  He sold cars for 30 years, so knows what he is talking about - sheesh!!!! :o

I must not have the moon in my sign or something - was out for 6 hours straight today

 With that, Buenas Noches!

FH, muchos oraciones para ti

Dragging dragon

My my Liz, how stresssssfullll!

At least you had cleared your agenda. When this happens to me, I go a bit nuts, depending on my bank account.

Thank God for Greg. Hope it is just a wire unplugged, or a fan not working right. Let us knowā™„

fly away

Wish I could fly away!!

Car repairs will be over $3000 :o ugh....

Cannot afford another car and mine is an Indy 500 Special Edition with all the bells and whistles - exterior and interior (leather) both in excellent condition.  If I hang on to it long enough, I may have a collector's item here - only 2500 were made B)

What is wrong with it? Need to change the engine?

Of course, you would like to fly away, I would. Real high and real far...

far enough

Bless my oldest son - I love him so much and can't thank him enough :D

In a nutshell, this work includes new radiator, all new belts and hoses, water pump as well as various other things.  Hope to have it back by Friday if I'm lucky...

Still waiting for a loaner (car) when one becomes available - if not, at least I can stay home! :P

Enough said

Now, we will know where to find you!

I imagine the good deed your oldest son, Paulie?,did for you. Annie did the same for me last year. Good for you!

Will hear, maƱana, how my client enjoyed his new dish and will let you know. Never tasted ricotta before Monday, I must admit that it is tasteless with a texture that is "weird".

Off to prepare my supper. Our boy is missing...ā™„

Oh, FH, I certainly hope that it will not be that long!  Are you on any antibiotics?  I am so sorry that your suffering has gone on so long.

We miss you and want you well!  :)

recovery slow

No antibiotics. Dr says that most have been taking 6 to 8 weeks to get feeling halfway decent. I am on week 3. One of my friends was on antibiotic, thernaflu (sp) and everything else he could find and he is still feeling poorly after 5 weeks. Still weak and shakey. He is an old goat like me so maybe that is part of the problem.

Liz, no slow cooker anywhere I go. So anxious to get his verdict.

Gosh, what a long period to get back from the flu. Didn't you get the vaccine? I didn't this year. Crossing my fingers here.

Verdict 7 on 10, liked it. But then, he never gives a 10. Will do it again in a few months. BTW, can we freeze ricotta?

Never heard of Traverse. Have fun with it!

Sorry the chicken didn't get at least an 8 or 9! :(  You still have a couple more recipes that I sent, right?

A Traverse (Chevrolet) is a mid-size SUV - seems huge to me, but fun to drive!

The chicken looked like a 10 to me. But again...

Kept the one with mushroom sauce. Soon.

Just did a special one this morning at home, this way less time spent at work. Will bring it Sunday to my client.

You must look look good in your fancy carā‡. Any brownies left?

again, problems

Am again having problems which I attribute to Colitis - I have had it a few times and it is miserable!  Have done nothing today but watch things I have recorded on TV..

Any reason why you dropped the Prozac dosage?  Do you feel that it is not helping any more?  Sorry, you are in a funk again :(

Almost hope car isn't ready tomorrow so I don't have to go out!

Problems! You think?

Liz, I can't upper the P, as it worsens the condition.

So, what the heck, trying to lower instead. The last month was pretty tough, and i won't know if I don't try, right?

Colitis, must hurt with cramps? Life is not easy as Scott Peck said.

Guess our boy is out of commission also!

Yep, think so - definitely cramps and all that nasty stuff....Have Dr. apt on Fri

Good luck with the P...hope you can do it and feel better!

Happy that car won't be ready until tomorrow since I have a Foot Dr. apt near the Dealership

Do you think you will be feeling up to having Max for Easter?  If not, we can make it another time.  He told me to tell you to 'PLEASE GET BETTER!"

Hey everyone!!

Can't believe it has been 4 days since we communicated...

How was the doc visit, Gail?   Hope it was good news

I went to the doc today as well - the Colitis was at about 3 weeks and I needed relief!  Got a Prescription so am hoping I will improve - man, this is horrible stuff

FH, hopefully you are doing better each day - seems we have all been under the weather :o

Confounded, absolutely

Hi Liz, was talking about your doctor, no appointment here for a while. Feel relief with the meds?

I play the daily challenges on line. You got a player name? Don't know if we play the same.
Mad about that that game. My name is Five Nations.

Quite a bad trip on the P, got back on 10.
