mishaps happen
Sorry about the one earlier post. I didn't mean to offend anyone. If you don't know what I am talking about that's OK. Don't worry about it.

feet dragging
Today's saga has been absolutely too much... As you know, I took my car in for a recall fix of some valve, or something last week
Had Therp appt. today and when almost there (20 miles away) my car started some strange knocking. When I pulled into the parking space there was smoke coming out from under the hood!
Waited over 1 1/2 hrs for tow truck after my appt. and had to ride in truck to Chevy Dealer (back the 20 miles) My neighbor picked me up there and he thought it odd that nothing was wrong with my car until I took it in to them last week. They are supposed to call to let me know what is wrong and when it will be ready (and $$$ as well, I'm sure!)
Thankfully I had started freeing up my calendar this morning as I can't keep running at this rate... Therefore, I have no plans for tomorrow or Wed. so I won't miss the car. Greg (my neighbor) said he would talk to them if they tried to charge for something unrelated to the work they did last week. He sold cars for 30 years, so knows what he is talking about - sheesh!!!!
I must not have the moon in my sign or something - was out for 6 hours straight today
With that, Buenas Noches!
FH, muchos oraciones para ti

fly away
Wish I could fly away!!
Car repairs will be over $3000 ugh....
Cannot afford another car and mine is an Indy 500 Special Edition with all the bells and whistles - exterior and interior (leather) both in excellent condition. If I hang on to it long enough, I may have a collector's item here - only 2500 were made

far enough
Bless my oldest son - I love him so much and can't thank him enough
In a nutshell, this work includes new radiator, all new belts and hoses, water pump as well as various other things. Hope to have it back by Friday if I'm lucky...
Still waiting for a loaner (car) when one becomes available - if not, at least I can stay home!

recovery slow
No antibiotics. Dr says that most have been taking 6 to 8 weeks to get feeling halfway decent. I am on week 3. One of my friends was on antibiotic, thernaflu (sp) and everything else he could find and he is still feeling poorly after 5 weeks. Still weak and shakey. He is an old goat like me so maybe that is part of the problem.

again, problems
Am again having problems which I attribute to Colitis - I have had it a few times and it is miserable! Have done nothing today but watch things I have recorded on TV..
Any reason why you dropped the Prozac dosage? Do you feel that it is not helping any more? Sorry, you are in a funk again
Almost hope car isn't ready tomorrow so I don't have to go out!

Hey everyone!!
Can't believe it has been 4 days since we communicated...
How was the doc visit, Gail? Hope it was good news
I went to the doc today as well - the Colitis was at about 3 weeks and I needed relief! Got a Prescription so am hoping I will improve - man, this is horrible stuff
FH, hopefully you are doing better each day - seems we have all been under the weather
Max is eagerly awaiting his trip and never fails to cross off a day on the calendar
