done learning

From what I just read it is just a matter of withholding water for a few days and diminished light. Some in the forums have had 6 or seven very cloudy days in a row and within a couple weeks the buds appear.

Aha!  I only water mine once a week but we certainly did have some really dark days recently...

After that all 4 plants had buds! :)

Sleep forever

The time will come when we will sleep forever.

My mom used to say to my dad, he used to nap every afternoon, that he will sleep forever when he dies and not to waste time now with sleep. He would put his head on the pillow and two seconds later, he was fast asleep. I envied him.

Bottom line, I agree with the naps but I cannot fall asleep easily during the day. Wish that I could.

Goodnight Liz and Fisherman♥

Away, where?

Hi sweet Liz!

In lack of of inspiration, coming back from a hard day's night once more!

Funny how Thismoment and FiveNotions comes to mind lately. Would be nice to hear from them, even just a few posts.

And how are you doing and Bently? Off to supper.♥

late flu

Got the flu.

It sucks (and blows, and drips, and runs and...) well you get the picture. Fever gone but very weak and still some chest congestion.

Time and patience.

Pain go away

Lots of fluids, you know that of course.

Hi Liz! Seems like the three musketeers were or are under the weather.

Have not seen my praying squirrel in four days, I miss her. But I think that she could be pregnant, it is the time of the year. Will see her early spring. The cardinals are singing.

Spring is not far away, we have a batch of Jaseurs Boreals that arrived yesterday. Beautiful bird. And we still have the white stuff!

away, gone

Hey, Gail!  I'm back to normal - don't know what it was, but it wasn't the flu.  Wonder if it could be nerve/anxiety related as I have been on the go so much...

Will look up the name of those birds - are they only in the north?  Our neighborhood sand hill cranes have taken up residence on this block and continually have very noisy meetings or parties, whatever they are!  The are so loud that they wake some of us up in the morning

Speaking of squirrels, mine are getting so brazen they sometimes get up on the outside window ledge in the kitchen and dining room and stare in, waiting for me to feed them! ;)

Lost somewhere in that area or is it North East? Whatever, I hope to find myself.
Unless I put an add in the Lost section!

Gail, you are a hoot!

I understand - it seems that sometimes I'm not sure either, since I feel like I'm not here 1/2 the time!!

Recall work on my car done and had it washed and waxed - I almost didn't recognize it! :P  Pollen down here now is horrible - makes cars yellow...

Side, which?

Are you serious with the yellowing? My car would be happy there as it is gold or sand color.

Glad I am not alone in the Lost department! Fisherman must also be lost, you see him?

Expecting the worst snow storm of the year starting tonite, followed by rain manana afternoon.

What color is your car?♥

again now

Hey, FH - good to "see" you!  Guess we are all a mess...   Are you about over your flu?

Gail, my car is black and the pollen leaves a thin film of yellow..  It was even worse in North Carolina - pine pollen

Curious, what is comfort food for you?  I am going through that no appetite thing again :(

Now now

I am losing my keyboard at times, and can't write.

So black and a tint of yellow would amount to the color...I don't dare say it!

Comfort food may be hot dogs and chips plus chocolate...when I feel like, you know, I go for comfort food. That makes me forget for a short time how lowsy I feel.

Cycles, no appetite again for you. Cycles, circles, life has a way of telling us that there is no permanent state. Always back to square one, temporarily of course. I wish that I would be an angel....no hails, no pain and no s***. Patience will bring me there one day!

You know, that before entering my physical body, they had to push me as I did not want to come here. I used to live on a very comfortable and cushy cloud...OK,enough for tonite.♥

I still have a lot of chest congestion and weakness even after nearly 2 weeks. I am sleeping well though so that should help.
