From what I just read it is just a matter of withholding water for a few days and diminished light. Some in the forums have had 6 or seven very cloudy days in a row and within a couple weeks the buds appear.

Aha! I only water mine once a week but we certainly did have some really dark days recently...
After that all 4 plants had buds!

away, gone
Hey, Gail! I'm back to normal - don't know what it was, but it wasn't the flu. Wonder if it could be nerve/anxiety related as I have been on the go so much...
Will look up the name of those birds - are they only in the north? Our neighborhood sand hill cranes have taken up residence on this block and continually have very noisy meetings or parties, whatever they are! The are so loud that they wake some of us up in the morning
Speaking of squirrels, mine are getting so brazen they sometimes get up on the outside window ledge in the kitchen and dining room and stare in, waiting for me to feed them!

Gail, you are a hoot!
I understand - it seems that sometimes I'm not sure either, since I feel like I'm not here 1/2 the time!!
Recall work on my car done and had it washed and waxed - I almost didn't recognize it! Pollen down here now is horrible - makes cars yellow...

again now
Hey, FH - good to "see" you! Guess we are all a mess... Are you about over your flu?
Gail, my car is black and the pollen leaves a thin film of yellow.. It was even worse in North Carolina - pine pollen
Curious, what is comfort food for you? I am going through that no appetite thing again
