not really
I know it is probably difficult to keep up with this, but PaulfromAtlanta (email address) is my ex-husband, however he and his wife now live in N. Redington Beach, FL.
The one who got married in Hawaii and had the foot surgery is Craig (younger son) who lives in San Diego.
Paulie is my oldest son who lives in Seattle and is coming in a week from today - he mentioned 3 types of cookies He is from Seattle.
Whew!!

really busy
TFL will be really busy with all those cookies!
i'm testing a peppermint crunch fudge recipe this week - if its a go, i'll take it to the family christmas events. my family on christmas night and hubby's side of the family on boxing day. his side are all french canadians, so that means plenty of tourtiere!

right now!
I want some tourtiere right now!
gail, its only available in the US when my husband's cousin makes it ;-) i rarely eat red meat... but i will eat tourtiere if it is made well. she makes both the pork pies and the pork and veal pies. its all about the spices and the crust.
no, it is not a dish americans eat. brits eat mince meat (the original made with mutton , not the fruity spice pie) and kidney pie. americans eat chicken pot pie, yum!

now (and) forever
I feel that I will be baking now and forever! Have trouble standing for long periods of time, so have to do it in stages...
Cookies he mentioned: Chocolate chip, Meltaways (lots of butter in these and rolled in powdered sugar), Peanut Butter and perhaps Gingersnaps. I may quit after 2
Paulie is Paul but the family calls him Paulie to distinguish who it is - he is a 3rd! Dad is a Jr.

maddening monkey
anxiety has been a maddening monkey on my back
FH i am so sorry that its still a struggle. i know when it gets rough for me i have to rely on what i know, the intellectual understanding that i am not going crazy, that anxiety tells us lies and that i will be okay! for me i know the anxiety is not the truth because i have evidence - the good days! i have to hang onto what i know at those times, not what i feel. what is so amazing is how you are still able to reach out and support others regardless of what you are personally feeling.
gail: Agneau (lamb) and mint is awesome! my favorite way to have it is roasted with a rub made up of salt, pepper, mint and dill - middle eastern style. i rarely eat it these days just for easter dinner at mom's.

see snow
I hope that you do not see snow Gail, as I know how much you dislike it!
When I lived up north, we always wanted it to snow for Christmas! (If it snows down here, I will be surprised!)
It is going down into the 40's tomorrow nite and Sat. nite - BRRRRRR
