Liz, I never buy mushroom but I like to pick them myself. It's the best activity that I love. Only lasts two months or three at the most.

I have them as an appetizer, few drops of oil, salt pepper, au naturel. Simplicity is my middle name.

Forgot to say that I clean them and cook them at high heat at first then lower the heat, must be sure that the tiny insects in them are well done! Joke!

Luckily I don't need the depends....yet!!   Don't worry Liz, I know you all too well and would never try to hurt my feelings. Friends don't hurt friends. I guess I have to give up on having Max for dinner. He is a friend also.  By the way, I can always use a new fishing hat!!

 

I can't think of that Phil Collins song about hats but I do love his song about "I can't sign and I can't dance". Great song.

It all started with the Beatles for me at 8 or 9 years old.

Witnessed a scene in the woods this am. Four deers, one kept looking at me and tapping his leg. He sensed danger. The look in her eyes was scary. Usually they are so "smiley". She scared me, afraid she would charge so I left.

Someone showed me how to call them, no way baby was I about to do this!
