earning $$ again, much needed ... but the "stomach worms" are back more frequently, I've come down with a head cold or sinus infection, my downstairs neighbor has been dead drunk and shouting obscenities all day (he's moving out end of the month, and is having one last "blow out"), and .... like Liz ... my computer has been "ill" ... had to manually pick through the registry to eliminate the malware ... I've had all the "fun" I can stand for the day ... 
Liz, what happened to your 'puter? I hope to God I didn't pass along my malware to you in that last email I sent (ages ago?) ...

frustrating tears
am working with a company over the phone but don't seem to be getting anywhere and so far at least they haven't charged me
this has been going on all week and I am ready to tear my hair out!
it is now stuck on check disk and is supposed to go through through five stages it gets stuck on the 5th and never finishes every time I turn the computer off and then turn it on again it start this all over again I cannot access my email or anything

Oh hopefully Tryinginfl the individuals you called will help. Where did you buy your computer? I usually get mine at Best Buy and sign up for their plan if I have a problem. Their Geek Squad is great. I've worked on the phone with HP and they fixed it once. Then I signed up with their plan for $15.00 a month. Either way I'm sure this will cost you something. Do you have windows 10, or windows 8?

my oldest son bought this computer for me after the robbery when my other computer was stolen.
is an Asus and we purchased it at Best Buy 5 years ago. still working with this company and it isn't fixed yet this has been going on all week.their charge of $144 just went through my account today and I am going to challenge that if my computer does not get fixed in the next day or two

PS. I don't know what I have. I know it's old, I hate it, it is slow and don't use it.
Any hair left Liz? Did you ask your son to log in your computer from Seattle and fix it? This must be nerve shattering.
