Beagles rule! (Especially Snoopy!)

I realized something today...once I get off Cymbalta I can actually have grapefruit again! Grapefruit juice is my favorite kind of juice & I've had to go without it for 2 years. Yeah! Something to look forward to.

Rule off

Snoopy does not bark, but beagles are barkers to my knowledge.

Masters and their dogs seem to have some commun traits.

Now, now, Fisherman, do you have a tendency to bark?♥

Key West

Beagles also really love to eat, I've heard. All dogs do, of course, but I've heard from Beagle owners that this is especially true of Beagles. True of FH too, then?!

I calculated that I've kicked 254 Cymbalta beads to the curb. That's a lot of beads...

west world

Guilty as charged but no more. I have lost 47 lbs, back to same weight as when 23. Feel great. Strick routine diet. Will probably never eat out again but that is alright as long as I keep feeling like this.

World peace

Congrats to you, FH! I recently lost weight, too. Withdrawal is what did it to me - my anxiety was so high, I could hardly eat. I lost 24 lbs. (That was all the weight I had put on from the antidepressants I had been on.) Now my appetite is normal, and I'm eating normally, but I'm also exercising so I'm hoping to keep that weight off.

rejoice again!

Really having computer problems here, so not sure how long this will last!

However, Buenos dias, All!  You were busy last nite on here but couldn't join in! :(

You were talking about barking dogs and I must say that Bentley (my Yorkie) barks more than any dog I have ever heard!  Unfortunately he has taught my little rescue, Sherman, to do the same and he never barked when I first got him!  Just wanted to add my "dog remarks"!

Again trouble

Too bad you could not join us yesterday, I miss you when you are not here.

So barkers also! I would have difficulty with that, even off key barkers like Fisherman!

So here is my morning adventure where I almost got killed(exagarating maybe and not) I was saying killed by a bird.

On a trail in the mountain, I stopped to look into the woods. Then this big bird comes flying a hundred miles a hour, OK let's say real fast. About two or three feet from my nose, true. I was stunned, so I say to myself, fine I will enter the woods right there, find a rock to sit and have a cigarette and quiet down.

And then, about 40 feet from me comes a female dear, again, but with her two bambies. Walking slowwwllly. Quite a site.

I swear that birds guide me in the right direction. End of true story.

Am bushed but got my two varieties of mushroom that I like!

Trouble (in) paradise

What a neat story! That's awesome! Glad you got led to the deer like that. (And that the bird didn't slam into you!)

Found you

And at the same time, opossum food!

Liz, do you have a tablet? I use only that except for bank transfers.

By the way, spent thirty minutes to clean a batch of mushrooms when I got back. And now, taking them out for supper, I realize they have a long stem. Not supposed to. Checked them out, non comestible!

Ah well, sure had fun just the same. The other variety is perfect.

Yep, forgot about the opossum and the occasional rat!

Nope, no tablet here - can't afford one   Just my laptop!

Sorry about the inedible mushrooms - enjoy the others ...

Bet off

They come cheap Liz, and you can bring them to bed with you.

How big is your rat? Color? Maybe Ramona could adopt it. I gave away all the accessories.

Supper time! Hasta later!

off side (as in hockey)

Thanks for the info, Gail, but even if I had one I wouldn't know how to use it!  I am extremely technically-challenged :(

The only thing I take to bed is my dogs!

Rat is about 8 inches long (without tail) and is dark brown, I think!  I never got that close to one of them except for the one that died in my garage (horrible smell) and I found him months later - flat as a pancake and very hard! :o

Side glance

I'd have to pass on adopting the wild rat, but I would care from him from a distance if he lived near me! lol! I've never had a wild rat, jut the pet store ones! I've had hooded fancy rats, and a dumbo rat. We have friends who had a hairless...sweet little thing!

Glance through

And all I take to bed is a small wooden cross made from Oliver tree witch I hold in my hand till morning.

Dumbo and hairless rats, I had but not the hooded one.

The hairless one was schizophreniac, her cage was just beside the sofa and every night I would open the cage for an hour or so and she came from the cage to the sofa all that time pretending to catch something on the sofa and holding it with one paw and bringing it to the cage, she would do that over and over a zillion times.

through here

I am happy to have the rat eat the let over bird and squirrel food, but I don't choose to be friendly with him!  They usually come into my garage in the winter and I had one that I watched climb the wall and then sit in the rafters and look down at us. Bentley went crazy and is always looking for one - terriers are ratters... B)

The rat only comes out occasionally, but the opossum is almost a nightly visitor! :P

Goes where

Good morning! No, it would not be a good idea to get friendly with a non domestic rat.

Bently would regret catching one, I am sure.

Now, what will be the adventure of the day?

I had a pet tarantula for a couple years When I would walk around the yard she would set on my shoulder. I could also hand feed her.
