I am still "out there" - not much concentration!  Still have trouble retaining any info I read

 

We are having much rain here...   Flood watches in effect in a few counties - has been raining all over for about 10 days!  No flood watch in my county, though.  Some areas have received over 6 inches!

One county has a flood watch in effect until Thursday morning.  Here there are more showers and storms predicted for this afternoon...

Could someone explain to me what the expression "let's not get ahead of ourselves" means.

Is it the same as " Don't get carried away"

The expression "let's not get ahead of ourselves" refers to someone who jumps ahead of himself with out going through all the standard steps.
 
Lets say that you and a friend are going on a 1,000 mile trip. Your friend might say "Lets jump in the car and go!!"
Your reply would be "let's not get ahead of ourselves" . "First we need to pack, check the tires for air and fill up with gasoline."

Well dr said my eye healed some and I need to go see him in 4 months to keep an 'eye' on it. Hahaha  Oh, I am so funny!1   NOT!! He said I had a moderate cataract but it doesn't seem to be affecting my vision yet. He said if it is not a problem we would just leave it alone.

Thank you! I still have the lousy effects from the too-high dose I was on, though. Have to be on extra meds now to be able to sleep, and to keep my heart rate down, it was going so fast. I'm hoping that once this is all said and done, that my nervous system will return to a normal state!

Finished Prozac three days ago, decided to give it a try without any other ad. For a while at least. Anyway, the doc is on vacation, gives me time to see how I will feel. So today is a good day. Tomorrow is another day!
