nonstop train
She was so happy that the nonstop train would get her there sooner to have a drink on the balcony!
Glad you are feeling better today, Gail...

The heat index here is 99 and the high is 93 so far. Flooding. Well the rivers were running 6 to 14' above normal and half of the highways here were shut down yesterday. The rivers are receding fast (hilly country so things drain quickly). Most are 3 to 7' above normal. No problem for us as we live ontop of a hill and I have a pontoon boat just outside incase. lol

in good (shape)
Lovely day, Gail! Glad you didn't miss your coffee and cookie! You were in good shape today!
I didn't do a whole lot but got ready for church and didn't go! The thunder and lightening were fierce! There was a man walking with his wife yesterday and there was thunder in the distance. A bolt of lightening shot down and killed him instantly. This is the worst state in the entire country for lightening. Have to go in if you even hear thunder.
Happy that you are OK, FH - but then, hot is hot! Good that your rivers are going down - I too live on a hill here on the ridge of FL - even dropped the flood insurance on my house. If the water would ever come up this high, I think it would be time to work on the ark!

grief applies
Yes, the boys aren't very happy when it storms! Bentley crawls all over me and Sherman lies right next to my feet! Max is great but then he is by far the biggest and tries to take care of them so no grief applies to him !
Unfortunately no rain today so have to water my flowers again tonite!
I have lost 7 pounds in three weeks on this Bupropion. Can't seem to eat much - Is this normal?

applies grief
FDA has approved It for weight loss. Usually when the patient has lost enough weight it is stopped.

Ending soon
Thanks, Gail! I feel better now and hope that I will be able to eat soon. I have been taking it for 3 weeks now, so I should be getting used to it soon. I know that you have had problems with meds too...
Have a wonderful week and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Now, really
Now really, good thing you aren't down here, Gail! We also have little lizards (chameleons) down here and they often get in the house! They don't bother me, but flies on the other hand - I go on a wild rampage with my fly swatter! They seem to come in by the dozen! I hate those things!
I also have a back snake that lives here and I have finally gotten used to him. They are not poisonous and tend to go after the rodents (BTW, he lives outside in my yard somewhere!)
OK, I'll stop!

Fishinghat comfortable
Been doing well lately. Just waiting for the iodine to flush from my system and see if my thyroid recovers. No symptoms anyway.
