Is this...

I wonder...is this ever really over?  I have come to the conclusion that I must continue as things go..

Whether that is great times or the opposite, I cannot change anything.

this gift

This gift of life sometimes feels otherwise.

Liz, we can change a lot. Everything we do in the present alters the future. We can practice those attitudes we would like to acquire; we can practice who we would like to become, and you know what they say about practice.

We can teach others how we would like to be treated. We can change the future.

Sure wish I could remember Fisherman's phrase about this.
This was a great phrase and I remember you liking it.

That Bustard must have had a hard time getting to Canada. They don't fly well. Either that or he swam over!!

Flight with

Flight with ease. French name is outarde, the translation was bustard. Could be gueeses. They fly forming a V. And they don't swim over. And they bark like dogs.

Honking trains

If there is a sound that I hate, it is honking trains.

So am I, FH will de-confuse us eventually. Gueese would be appropriate, Canadian gueese. Enjoy your game!♥

trains roll

A bustard is a bird of Africa and Asia mostly. While it can fly it does so for only short distances. They are markedly ugly birds. The French word outarde is from a latin word which means 'slow bird' which was a slang often used for those who were mentally challenged. The French word bustard refers to any number of geese species.

On myself

Thanks FH, they are geese. Not ugly at all! I may apply the word bustard on myself, not ugly but slow in understanding but quite fast at chores!

Hey, two bustards on the forum, too much funny! Or not funny!
But Liz, we are not as ugly as real bustards.

Fun with

Oh Liz, how I miss the fun I had with Max! Big smooch for him.
Speaking of Max, I named my teddy Max. Poor thing, I had to sew or sow his nose, he was losing it.

So anesthesia first... Then did the sewing! Looks like new, should have been a surgeon...

with precision

Obviously you operated on your Teddy with precision - a new nose!  How wonderful!! :D

When it gets warmer up there I'm sure that Max would like to come for a return visit!

It bothered him when his nose was running all the time in the cold... :(

Dulces suenos, Gail!

One thing a man does is to never refer to himself as a bustard. Too easily misunderstood.  lol
