You know...
Oh my, Cse.... you know you're dealing with a Cubs fan and a Cardinal fan here - playing each other right now in Season Opener at Wrigley!
BTW, Chicago Blackhawks playing St Louis Blues in hockey game right now too - for 2nd place in Division!

baseball fan
My dad made a Cubs baseball fan out of me when I was about 6! We lived in a suburb of Chicago and back in those days TV was in black and white! (That tells you how OLD I am!) WGN was one of the few channels and they always carried the Cubs' games.
My dad was a ballplayer and had been approached by a Scout but didn't go - I often wonder what life would have been like if he had. So there you have it - lived there for 43 years and can't change my allegiance!
Yep, Jacksonville back then - there were no teams in FL at that time!

Calms too
Had some music too - forced to take Classic Piano for 10 years and hated it! Also played clarinet in band in Jr. High. Mother played piano and organ... Oldest son took piano and now plays guitar!
I preferred the sports! Unfortunately all the Chicago teams (Baseketball, Hockey and Baseball) LOST yesterday! Blech...

Learning to play piano was a dream of mine when I was 5 or so.
I pointed myself at the piano class and the teacher said that my parents had not given permission. If only at the time I could have told them my wish, but no, I kept my mouth shut. Too bad for me!

finger span
I remember that song, TM...
Yes, I took piano from the age of 5 to 15 - problem being that I wanted to take pop and was forced to take classical
Things may have been different if I could have had my wish - so I took what was called "acrobatics" at the time! (Man, am I OLD!! )

Even though I had to stop my taper and go back on 20 mg, things are good.

Liz, had that kind of day also. No cardinals yet to be seen, just heard. Still snowing, birdwatching is for later.
Cse, glad that you feel OK!
Liz, let's join our minds and have a prayer for each other♥

Melting snow, 90 is too hot for me also. It is what it is! A few weeks then it will be marvelous! The robins have not shown up yet, they are the sign that winter has finally ended! Can't wait to see one or a cardinal.
Have a good one this afternoon! Better here♥
